Starting to think it's location based...I've been PFS for quite some time now, but serial number hasn't been shown up in my support profile... If people have already gotten their shipping information. It would be helpful to know what state..

I noticed the billing name on my Apple Pay profile is my nickname instead of my full name (which is on my credit card). I guess I should call Apple to double check.

My Rose gold 128gb 6s plus is PFS but nothing in my support profile. ATT shows the installment plan as pending and my old installment plan as upgraded. I am confident it's coming, but some shipping info would be nice.

Seeing some news.

I have no doubt I'll get the thing on the 25th. I just like to participate in the tradition of tracking it and enjoying the camaraderie. I don't think anyone here is actually concerned with the idea of not receiving his or her phone.
Same here. Knowing my luck, I probably won't get the tracking until the night before and the thing will ship out from some lame shipping center a few cities over in CA.

And, in typical UPS fashion, we have departure scans that take place before arrival scans and packages that fly to ZhengZhou and then to Shenzhen and then back to ZhengZhou!

Please, Apple! FedEx! FedEx! FedEx!

I'm so jealous of all of you who are getting to track your phones! I loved doing that with my 5s. Mine is still processing and it is not in my support profile either.

Preparing for shipment
Phone in support profile
Tracking by reference and in UPS MyChoice, phone currently in ZhengZhou

w00t!

Ordered from Apple App, AT&T 64GB 6s Space Gray @12:39am PDT

Now my phone is not the primary on our AT&T account, and the tracking by reference is available on the primary line, not my line, so if you're having trouble there, try the primary line on your account. For some reason it also happens to be the number on the "bill to" address on my apple account, but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

As for those people who ordered earlier and are still in processing, what I suspect is happening is that your phone is already stateside! You're being allocated out of the phones that were bulk shipped over and staged in warehouses in the US. Since they don't need to ship until a day or two before delivery, nothing is happening on those orders yet. What do you think? Good theory or no?

I have to say I really like your theory!

Temporary Service Impacts Due to Papal Visit

Security measures will be in place in areas of Washington, D.C., New York City, and Philadelphia as Pope Francis visits the United States September 22-27, 2015. UPS is implementing contingency plans to minimize service impacts.

During the visit, no pickups and deliveries will be available in some ZIP codes. The days when service will be impacted are:

• Washington, D.C.: Tuesday, September 22, through Thursday, September 24. (Only limited areas of ZIP codes will be impacted, depending upon street closures.)

• New York City: Thursday and Friday, September 24-25

• Philadelphia: Friday and Saturday, September 25-26

I have the same UPS tracking status that most of you have already posted. I plan on scheduling pickup instead of delivery but I'm wondering if I should choose the hub (25 miles away) or the UPS store (3 miles away). If I choose the store, will it be available for pickup when it opens or do I have to wait for the truck to deliver it to the store first?

Yes there was a sizeable thread and/or string of posts with regard to that.

Was able to Track by Reference on UPS as well. I've got a Departure scan in ZhengZhou at 9:37PM local time followed by an Arrival scan in the same location at 9:55PM.

I have an Origin Scan, Location Scan, Departure Scan, and Arrival Scan, all in ZhengZhou.

Last year sending to the store added a day to delivery.

Strange that my order has an active tracking number, is PFS, but still no charge on my Amex.

WTF is going on ? I pre ordered right at 3am Sunday and have an delivery date of 9/25, but my order is still processing and my card hasn't even been charged yet, nor does it show up on my bank account. I know I have the worst luck in the world, but damn can something go my way once ? Lol. Welp.

I'll say it for the 1 millionth time, if your order shows a delivery date of 9/25 that's when you'll be receiving it!

During previous iPhone launches they sometimes charged me a couple days after I received my phone.

Sounds like our phones are traveling together. I have the same scans.

So judging by the shipping details, does Apple have phones already stateside in any distribution plants ready to be labeled with the shipping logistics?

Seems as if there are NO phones here ready to ship to UPS hubs? That means FoxConn assembles them all, and then they all just this week started the journey?

Doesn't seem right. Maybe there are phones already here waiting to be labeled but aren't done yet and that's why some early preorders aren't showing PFS yet.
