I remember the last time I called them was around May, and I was put on hold about 40 minutes and they hung up, so actually no thanks.

Ok, so I just called UPS since I'm kind of in the same boat. They said that they need a government issued ID that has the matching delivery address. If your doesn't have the current address (mine doesn't), I need to being another government issued ID that matches the name, and one must have a photo. (so passport, birth cert, ss card, etc.)

My UPS just checked my name the last 3 iphone releases. I brought a utility bill just in case but they never asked for it. The rules above are accurate but I've never had them request that type of stuff.

For all of the refresh maniacs....

I still have no idea where my 6S+ is at. Considering it's silver, it's probably been on US soil even before the presentation. :p

Wouldn't this be ironic? What if the lines at the UPS CC's were huge this Friday? We wake up in the wee hours of the morning to avoid waiting in line at an Apple Store and we're waiting in line at a UPS CC.

Seems like this is more of a thing this year... I don't remember this much talk about picking up at a CC last year, and I waltzed in with no wait around 10a.

The extra week between announcement and launch day has made more people outbid their minds with impatience.
Also, there are multitudes more status changes which include a shipping number that you can have UPS hold for you. In the past a lot of our shipping info wasn't received until 1 or 2 days before delivery.

Forgive me if this has been asked already as I haven't read the whole thread. I put both serials into the info site and both come back as 128GB phones. I ordered 2 64GB phones. I'm guessing the site isn't all that accurate? Anyone else see this?
mine was spot on....

My UPS app is now showing my 6s+ in ZhengZhou China. Progress! :D

UPDATE: And, for those interested, it's a "Week 38"...

Just got support profile, UPS tracking numbers. Not shipped yet. At least I get them.

  • Me too. Still PFS and my card still pending transaction but found my tracking number by reference number using my phone number on UPS. Phone is in ZhengZhou, coming to SF

Has anyone whose phone is in Zhengzhou moved past the "ZhengZhou, China 09/19/2015 9:55 P.M. Arrival Scan"?

At least they finally charged my amex (applepay)... after I found a tracking number. Now I can finally work on restoring my 6+ (so it doesn't mess with the applepay token for this purchase)

Chek Lap Kok is HKG ... the main airport in HKG... that's just the name for the area\manmade island.

Amazing how many Americans travel vicariously through their iPhone's order history, yet have never been to these places. LOL

I've actually been multiple times to both HK and Shenzen (since honestly it's just an day trip, though the visa process is harder than it should be), but obviously never paid attention to the airport name (it's changed over the years as well). Drivers are great, but also mean you kinda ignore where you are going lol. Besides, all I bother to notice on the itinerary is the airport code, HKG. Also been to Shaanxi province and Shanghai.

Never an iPhone Factory though.

I went at lunch last year and the guy at my UPS hub said there was 20-30 "angry nerds" waiting outside banging on the door at 8am.
