Someone said earlier in the thread that the phone would be sent to the original destination and then sent to the new address. I suppose if both addresses are served by the same office it may not make a difference, but if it has to go from one town to another, you may not have it till monday. There are conflicting stories about local UPS store pickup, which is a $5 fee.

I would think that as the package is scanned through one of the intermediate stops it could be shoved off to the side for re-labeling but I dunno.

Your best bet is to contact UPS, as the iPhone release is a special case.

okay thanks, I'll call ups in the morning. I just don't want to get a noob on the phone and they tell me it's no problem and i get screwed you know lol.
 
I wonder why all of our shipment weights are varying.. If you only ordered the iPhone and no extra cables or headphones, what is your shipment weight?
 
My iPhones are still in Anchorage tonight and didn't go with the others on the plane to Louisville. I want to yell at them, "Get back on the plane, iPhones, buckle up, and switch to Airplane Mode. No sightseeing!"

For those of us in the Southeast, anyone know what the route is from Louisville? In other words, is our home city the next stop or does it go to another UPS hub first? And when I track my phone, I have no warning message about the iPHone being delivered at the end of the day. Yes, like many others, when I log in it says delivery by 10:30am and when I don't log in it says the end of the day but nowhere do I see that message others have posted.

Yeah, mine did too. It didn't go the opposite side. I'm in California. it says 3 more business days until delivery for me.

I was gonna go with Otterbox but they were already back ordered until October and i wanted to make sure i had something for when the phone came in. I don't really use cases either... first time i bought one cause of the sexiness of the phone lol. I'm just gonna get the ZAGG cover now and be done with it. This way i can walk by the crazy lines at the Apple stores and show off the fizzle :D

Full Zagg. The metal is more likely to get scratched than the glass. I've had naked glass for quite awhile. No scratches. Every time I've had naked metal? Scratches.

Amazon has iPhone 5 Otterboxes. The Defender for the iPhone 5 got delivered today to me.
 
Flight from Louisville to Orlando might be UPS1326:
18-Sep-2012 MD11/Q Louisville Intl (KSDF) Orlando Intl (KMCO) 04:15AM EDT 05:43AM EDT Scheduled

Which would mean our iPhones will sit in Orlando for 3 days before being sent out for delivery. That's alright, not looking for favors or miracles, only to get it by Sept 21 as flying out of town early Sept 22 and by then phones have to be swapped.

.4kg, .8lbs
 
2 shipments come up when I search with my phone number and my dad's phone number.

One from Addison, IL. 2.00 lbs.
The other from Nashville, TN. 0.90 lbs.

Both billed and shipped the same day.
But on the Apple website it still says "Preparing for Shipping".

I don't know what to think! I just want the phone on 21st!! D=
 
For peeps with UPS tracking numbers who want more info, someone posted this website today, and I've found it extremely helpful. You INPUT your UPS tracking number and it not only tells you where your package has been, BUT WHERE IT'S GOING NEXT.
