Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

My credit card statement shows a pending charge of $1.00 as well as a posted transaction on Monday for $213.93. Will i be charged twice once the phone arrives? Anyone else have this?

The pending charge will disappear after a few days. That's just apple verifying you had funds to cover the purchase
 
Well, mine's been stuck in Louisville now since monday night, and I'm in Florida. At what piont should I worry?
 
just happened to be browsing my credit card statement, and it says:

09/17/2012 09/18/2012 APPLE ONLINEUSA APPLE - CUPERTINO CA MAIL/PHONE -- 9406 $0.49
09/17/2012 09/18/2012 APPLE ONLINEUSA APPLE - CUPERTINO CA MAIL/PHONE -- 8405 $211.94

211.94 was the charge on my receipt, but what's this extra 49 cents. why apple?! i dont care about 49 cents, but its really more the principle of some random charge never mentioned anywhere.

And also method updated from "Holiday Shipping" to "Next Day Shipping".

What that means?

The status is still "Processing Items" and no UPS record.

I have a question. My friends tracking info says his iphone package weights 2.0 LB and mine says 0.99 LB... WHY IS THAT?
 
Mine just updated by 10:30 as well!!! It had said by end of the day before. Isn't this good luck



I work nights and get home at 6 AM. There is no way I'm gonna be able to sleep Friday morning now!

Mine says 10:30 am too, though I know from the first post in the thread, UPS posted a status update saying they have no commitment for any iPhone but "end of the day".

But if it does make it by 10:30, I will be very happy!

What tends to be the window that UPS delivers leading up to 10:30am? From experience, does UPS deliver by 10:30 or do they usually run late?

Do you have a registered UPS account? I do and when I am not logged in, I get the same time as you, but when I am logged in it changes to 10:45-2:45.

But I gotta say I am VERY jealous of those who have switched to before 10:30. But of course still happy to get mine on Friday late morning/early afternoon.
