There are instructions on your order confirmation. If you are ATT you just turn the phone on and follow its instructions. If you are upgrading and want to retain contacts and messages, photos, etc, then backup the old phone before turning the new one on. After the new phone is activated, you will be able to restore from that backup. You can use either iTunes or iCloud to backup and restore.

I keep hearing here that trucks start rolling at 8AM. Drivers were asked to come in earlier to get ready, however.
San Pedro here too! My UPS tracking says before 3pm. I wish I was in the before 10:30 boat. We'll see.

In Australia, we get our deliveries done by TNT. I called them up at 5.30am and asked approx what time I will be getting my package, and they said between 9am and 2pm. So I arranged for someone to be available at home between those times to sign for the package, but NO. They came at 7.58am. No one was home.
WHAT?!?!?!?!?! Now I have to pick it up at the depot (there's only one too quite far from my house).
NOT IMPRESSED.
One of the guys I talked to in customer service didn't even know that the depot was open tomorrow just because there's a ton of apple products being delivered. Even I knew that without their staff telling me.

I live like 2 miles outside the delivery range
That's depressing! ): they have good Italians too. You can get day old bread there for I think a quarter a loaf. At least at our location. My roommate comes back with lots of them and makes grilled cheese.
