Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

My package is on the way to my local hub but it's changed from 9:45-130 to end of day. I'm still hopeful it will come early because my ups guy usually comes around 10am.

I'm glad my roommate just reminded me to backup my iPhone 4 so I 'll be ready for the transfer.

Going to bring food to some friends in the Apple store line tomorrow. I will try really really hard to keep the 5 phone in my pocket.
 
my extra lightning cable has shipped. Originally showing delivery in october with a ship time of 2-3 weeks. Should now be here next wednesday

I am in the same situation as you. I live in Vegas and it's still sitting in Louisville.

I feel like living in a major city such as Atlanta mine would already be on a truck by now o.o
 
I realize I'm a shipping (logistics in all forms really) nerd but it amazes me how many people don't understand how hub shipping works. All the people that are complaining their phone is in Louisville, chill. That's how every overnight package going further than truck distance works. All the packages to Louisville, then flights around 3-4AM to their destinations.

You guys that track what flight ur phone are crazy. I am an Apple fan, but this goes beyond. I mean really, you have to know which plane your iphone is on???

Is yours in Richmond? Mine is, got "ARRIVAL" then "UNLOAD" scans. I also have a 1030 delivery. If I remember correctly, ups arrived around 2 last year for my iPhone 4S and for my recent purchase of the Apple portable hard drive, but other than that I'm always at work when I get deliveries (my schedule at work varies). We'll see how the 1030 delivery goes. I'll keep you posted 🙂
