Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

It sucked to be on the east coast staying up late for the preordering, but the east coasters are getting theirs first. The west coast didnt have to stay up so late, but they are still a few hours away from getting them.
 
I had to register to say, that you guy's have been entertaining me like no other lol!! It makes waiting so much easier.

Here's my deal. This will be my FIRST IPHONE. gasp, shock, gasp!!:eek:
While I do own apple stuff :apple: ,.. ipod touch, ipad 2, macbook pro, .. I've never owned an Iphone.

I'm coming from a Blackberry Torch. (Don't clown it, it was seriously a great phone) The only reason why im converting is because it seems everything is becoming less bb friendly. I'm fearful for another 2yr commitment. So today it will get the ax. I get attached to inanimate objects. :,( *cue boys II men: It's sooo hardd, to saay goodbyeee..

So here I wait with you guys for a "by 10:30am" delivery. :D

I wonder how many browns will get hugged or tackled today?:p
 
My black 32 gig was delivered here in Charleston SC at 10 AM. Had my old phone backed up and the new one activated with AT&T ten minutes later. It is currently being restored from my backup.

I saw notes about scuffing on some black phones. No such issues here. Hope it goes as well for the rest of you!
 
Still waiting for delivery by 12:00. The good news is that my son ran over to the local Radio Shack for me a picked up one of three Otterbox Defenders for the IP5 they had for sale. The new IP5 will be well protected!

WTF. I had my pre-sign form attached to my door. Just got this:

The customer was not available on the 1st attempt. A 2nd attempt will be made.

UPS just delivered at 10:10 AM, Powell OH. He said 10.30 was definitely a commitment.

have otterbox cases arrived in any stores yet? i know some were/are available on amazon.....

so...... FedEx tracking says "by 3:00pm" - does that mean I'm not getting it until 'around' 3?

I decided to wear this shirt today. It's from iPad 1 launch day! Bought it off of a member here who got it from an Apple employee.

Sorry, the colors are off. It's really a very nice royal blue. You can blame my 3GS.

Man all the right coasters are getting them before 10:30am, my tracking details say between Noon and 4PM, and the hub is almost in my back yard.

The UPS driver ignored my pre-sign form, thankfully, I was at home at the time.

I guess they didn't get the memo?
 
Iphone 5 sim and net lock free

I am from Germany, and i have a question.
Is the Iphone 5 in a Apple Store in Usa (not online store) simlock
and netlock free.

for example model MD645LL/A = a 64gb white Iphone 5 (AT&T) for 849,- US$

Arrived pretty early on Long Island. It took about 'til 1:30p for my iPad 3 to come. I hope no fellow Long Islanders are still waiting.

I'm in Arlington. Did your tracking give you a 10:30 delivery time?
 
Got mine in about 10 mins ago. Sucks I am working from home but I need to keep the old phone hot till I am done for the day at noon. So I have just under 2 hours to wait before I can set it up.
