Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

Black 32 GB, just out of the box. It's BEAUTIFUL.

Setting it up with iTunes now (activation is slow).
 
So, we preordered two phones - white 16GB and black 64GB. The black 64GB arrived this morning at 10AM (scheduled before 10:30), but white 16GB (residential delivery by end of the day) - still on the truck some where. the 64GB started in China, the 16GB white started in IL. A bit annoyed that they didn't arrive together with the same shipment type...
 
Delivered at 9:30 am EST in Harrisburg, PA. UPS guy told me he had delivered 5 others already. After I signed for it he said "have fun" :D

I'm not stressed. I'm at work so I won't get it until tonight anyway. I just thought it was odd. Since that time, I tracked both on my phone and they still both say 10:30 there. Regardless, it's 10:30 now and neither shows delivered and my wife hasn't texted me "the stupid phones are here."
 
People Lucky bastards who already have their iPhones, did you find this to be true?

I stopped and talked to the same ups driver I talked to yesterday. He said if there's a "1" on your package, it MUST be delivered by 10:30AM. If it has a "1P", there's more leeway in delivery time. The 8th and 9th digits of your tracking number are the shipping method. Mine is "66" so it requires a signature.

When I talked to him, at first he said "if it's coming from Kentucky, it'll take 3 days at the least to get here." I said no, my tracking info says tomorrow, so apple must have an agreement with them. He accepted that. This guy I talked to is a really nice guy. He said that if I see a ups truck and I'm not home, I can ask him to pull over and ask if he has my package.

Just got mine in the Dallas area at 9:20AM, UPS is definitely serious about this 10:30AM stuff.

Of course you are annoyed..but please..2 million phones shipping today and its a near miracle in logistics...you not getting both phones on one truck is nothing to freak out about.
