I'm sad face: plug in iPhone 5 and it says I need iTunes 7... Download iTunes 7 and it says I need OS X 10.6.8. I have a late-2008 MacBook with OS X 10.5.8

Might have to buy a new MacBook to use my iPhone. Anyone have experience upgrading an old MacBook to mountain lion (or whatever we are at right now)? Should I just buy the new MacBook Pro?

IMO, I would return the iPhone if I needed to invest in a new computer.

So for you lucky people who have had theirs delivered, what do you think of the new headphones? How much better do they sound and fit? I have never really liked any earbuds before because they always hurt my ears and never sounded good at all.

I just unwrapped them. Wow, they seem much more powerful than before. The others seemed rather tiny in sound, there is much more substance to the new ones. It fits my left ear perfectly with no pain or wiggle. My right doesn't seem to fit as well, but I'm gonna keep trying.

My wife's arrived, the driver said he didn't have mine. I checked UPS.com and it now says out for delivery in Boston, MA. We're in Virginia!! I hate UPS.

Weird. Mine just activated in about 20 seconds...restored from icloud in 12 minutes. Really impressive how seamless it was.

They sound MUCH better! Don't really want to stay in my ears but they are so much more musical that it isn't funny!

Agreed, while not as good as my $150 UEs, they are far better than the original Apple ear buds.

No problem with them staying in my ear....but I'm not exactly running with them.

More on the earpods: I've listened to a little rock, hip hop and some adele and they sound great with all three types of music. I even turned on Thor quickly to see how they did with movies and it sounded great. I usually had to turn the volume up really high on the old ones, these I barely have to turn up.

Granted I'm in a mostly quiet apartment now. Will have to try them again in the real world.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but...

I ordered a phone through Apple without the full, so I paid the $550 for my 32GB. It's in "preparing for shipment" status, so it can't be canceled. Now my local store has plenty of phones left. When I get to the register, will they still only charge me the $550? Then I could return the original order when it arrives next week.

Apple customer service said I should get the same price, but the store rep outside of the store was unsure.
