Mine went from on truck for delivery today to in transit. Still has today as the delivery date though. Usually UPS gets here in the afternoon so have my fingers crossed.

Feel bad for the FedEx'ers -- my partner's phone still hasn't gotten here (ordered through Verizon).

I dunno, my neighbor's Fedex was dropped off this AM, but our two via UPS are no shows so far.

Nope. I'm in Westchester and mine left Elmsford at 6:52 this morning.

Mine said it should be here before 10:30am . I called UPS she said yes it is . I checked my tracking number now it says nothing besides delivery 9/21/2012 .
This sucks I have to leave in an hour and there is no place to leave my phone since I live on a Main Street in the city. Ugh dam UPS where are they it 11:00am already. Looks like I might have to pick it up Monday morning.

Still waiting for mine in NLV. I have a confirmed delivery window 11:45 to 13:45 so I still have a few hours to go.

Update from Seattle area

I live about 30 minutes outside Seattle. 2 phones delivered by UPS at 9:30am this morning.

1 phone showed 10:30am delivery
1 phone showed 3pm delivery

Both arrived at the same time.

Had an original delivery time of Before 3:00p but it (finally) arrived at 10:2am. I never got an Out for Delievery scan and I was scared my precious had been lost in the shuffle! I'm in CA, close to the Oakland hub.

Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but...

I ordered a phone through Apple without the full, so I paid the $550 for my 32GB. It's in "preparing for shipment" status, so it can't be canceled. Now my local store has plenty of phones left. When I get to the register, will they still only charge me the $550? Then I could return the original order when it arrives next week.

Apple customer service said I should get the same price, but the store rep outside of the store was unsure.

You will have to pay full price for the phone - go ahead and activate the phone and then when your other phone is delivered by Apple - switch the SIM cards and return the first phone for which you paid full retail. You have 14 days to return the phone to apple for a full refund - ATT and Verizon and Sprint may charge a restocking fee but Apples does not.

Mine arrived at 10:24 PT (just ahead of the 10:30 scheduled delivery) via UPS. Got off phone with AppleCare Protection and they couldn't set up AppleCare+ - instead they set me up with a Genuis appointment at the local Apple Store. So now I'm setting up the phone. Definitely lighter. Easy to hold for me - big hands. Enjoy and see folks on the other side.
