Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

changed address to a business address during the "preparing for shipment" phase of the ordering process (why you can't freaking change the shipping address during the GD order is beyond me?!?!)

The phone is still out for delivery and i'm thinking they really are going to seriously make me wait until the "3:00PM" time. C'mon really? Switching to a business address should:mad: have given me the 10:30AM time..not sure why other people in this thread got that when we had no control over the shipping for the preorder.
 
Just called ups. They said this is a replacement driver and every angry apple person is calling up mad. It didn't matter if you had a presigned sheet(I did) or have an apartment office that receives that packages(I did)..if you didn't sign for it in person you don't get it. They're allowing people to come pick them up at 630. dgsdg I wish I could meet the truck somewhere the office is so far.

The customer was not available on the 1st attempt. A 2nd attempt will be made.

The 10:30 wasn't a business thing, it was a Worldwide Express vs Domestic delivery commitment. Actually if it is domestic, residential addresses just get an end of day commitment.

Delivery date just changed to ............ October 5. PISSES ME OFF.

Mine has been out for delivery for 7hr. That is taking the scenic route. 11hr is taking a paid vacation while sleeping behind the nearest Wal-Mart.

Weird They took my presigned sheet and left it at my porch no problem. He even halfway hid it behind omething for me :]

Mine was delivered at noon, but UPS didn't update their site until 1:30... somehow my apt clubhouse was able to sign for it! Kinda pissed, but I have him now! :D:D:D:apple::apple::apple::D:D:D

The regular ups/fex ed/usps people don't even come to our doors at the apartment. They drop it off with the building manager and she locks them up til you come sign for them. She said she had over 15-20 people call already for their iphone 5 and he's only halfway through his drive.

Yes, mine is doing this too. Mine will play, but if you hit "next" it will skip a couple of songs, then play.

Wow, small world. That's my old neighborhood :)
I had it delivered to San Leandro though becuase UPS doesn't come to my house until about 7pm. I guess they drop off packages on their way back to the hub. That sucks.
