Just tried to login and check my order and got message:

Something went wrong with your request. Please try again later.

Anyone else? Hoping this means order status changing to 'shipped'. Any other status will make my wife livid!

I had the same thing earlier today and my status is still "processing"

I ordered on 9/16 w/ an expected delivery date of Oct 10-16.

This is starting to get really frustrating!

I'm getting this too. I figured it was punishment for checking too often.

Same previous status on my order too. I think we are being punished.

Hey, I ordered on 9/15 and got an expected delivery date of Oct 11-17! What gives!?!

I also got that same message today (not that I'm checking one or more times per day.....)

I'm not sure, but I ordered through apple.com and live in the U.S. if that makes any difference.

I guess it would make sense indicating which phone we ordered - there are a few variables:

phone colour
storage size
GSM (incl freq differences) or CDMA

Depending on the plant(s) manufacturing these - the difference in production rates for each type could have a large effect on availability predictions.

I ordered a 64GB Black GSM (Canada) on 15 Sep and got an expected delivery range of 11-17 Oct.

EDIT: GSM/CDMA should read: different carrier/frequency versions.

Thats wrong too, theres only 4 iphone 5s...cdma, or low quality verizon and sprint, gsm att and others, then there's an intel and a non intel chip...which factory its made it means nothing...they need multiple factories to deal with 2 million sold in 24 hrs.

Lotta idiots on this site

Apparently with you here, there's one more.

What are you talking about and how does what you posted refute what I posted?

Are you implying all factories and production lines produce all the variants of the iPhone 5 at the exact same rate and that there is an equal worldwide demand for all variants?

It's time for you to improve your reading skills but first you had best pluck your head out of that dark orifice.

Some of you should look at the information on page one of this thread before you pull crap out of your ying yang, there are 24 different iphone 5's as far as we know. 4 basic platforms, three memory size options, and two colors.

I don't think there were any, but now that you've turned up I'm sure about one thing, there's one now.

Update; Just changed sometime today to preparing for shipment.

Ordered my wife's Oct 15th appx 4pm pacific, still shows processing. 32gb AT&T black. I was one of the lucky ones, ordered at Apple.com 12:10am Sept 14th, got mine on 21st AT&T 64gb black. This'll teach her to make up her mind sooner next time.
Finally! Happy wife.

My wife's 32GB white iPhone 5 GSM just shipped (tracking number available, and ready for UPS).

Ordered around 4pm EST on 9/15
'bout freaking time!

My 16GB Black (GSM) just shipped. Ordered on 9-16 from Apple Online...delivery is 10-16, the LAST possible day they quoted...
I'll not preorder from them again. Ridiculous to take a full month to get a phone...

Shipped finally.

Finally! Happy wife.

Just discovered by using my Apple account phone number as a reference on UPS's website under track by reference, my wife's had an origin scan on the 7th and "processed, ready for UPS" at 1:04 am 10-09-12 local time. Still shows preparing for shipment on Apples website. Ordered 15th appx 3pm Pacific, black gsm 32gb

Mine says 15th for delivery with a window of 10th - 16th. I suppose that's good.

Why did you guys order it online to have it shipped? You know you can do a next-day-pick-up if you go online at 10pm
