Apple.com Preorder Status Thread (merged)

Can anyone with UPS tracking confirm this for me? I ordered two phones on preorder night and have tracking thru UPS for one. However the weight is 2lbs. I'm assuming both phones are in the same package, but could anyone who ordered one phone let me know the shipping weight from your UPS status? I'd greatly appreciate it. The only reason I worry is because only one of the phones is showing up in my support profile. The other has not.

One 16GB Black ATT phone in preparing for shipping state near 24 hours, ordered 3:18 Eastern, no additional data.

One 16GB Black ATT phone in preparing for shipping state (stuck there 30 hours), ordered 3:25 Eastern, have SN and UPS tracking (available late yesterday), currently lounging at a coffee shop in Addison Il. Apple care charged to credit card but not the phone yet.

As the other poster said, mine is also .4kg (for one iPhone 5), which comes out to nearly 1 pound. So 2 should be nearly 2 pounds (probably rounding up). I wouldn't worry too much about your support profile only showing one. My support profile shows an iPod Nano (which I never owned) and doesn't show my iPhone 3G, which was my first iPhone.

My 64gb black is with the folks who left Incheon at 11:12. My wifes 32gb black is in (has left?) ZhengZhou. And my Lightning USB cables will be here on Thursday. Last I looked they were in HK via FedEx.
 
If your having problems using the track by reference and nothing is working USE YOUR BILLING ADDRESS PHONE NUMBER (the one associated with the card u used to pay with) and what you know I found my iPhone... :D

I once had a CSM from some company try to argue about how long it took for a UPS order to ship from one part of the country to mine. Without seeing a tracking number, I nailed the time in transit just based on experience without ever looking at a website. I sometimes feel like I understand UPS better than most companies that ship large volumes with them. :rolleyes:

Holiday shipping 9/21.

Not a peep out of support profile or UPS track by reference...
 
So for fun I've done some maths!

I'm estimating that 1 million phones were available for shipment on the 21st based off them selling 2 million in the first 24 and that roughly being the amount of 4S's they sold opening day last year.

The total population of people in the countries that could purchase opening day is 573 million.

So the odds of someone you meet having another 5 between the 21st and October 5th is about 0.17%

The few the proud and whatnot.
