I have my gift card as well. I'm not gonna let it slow me down, though, so I'm just gonna hold off on Applecare and use it to pay for that after I get my phone.

go for the 6+, if you find you don't like it, you can exchange during the 14 day window, better to start with what you are more unsure of, make sense??
