Got my shipping email/text/whatever today. Tracking number shows it left Harrisburg, PA yesterday afternoon with no updates since.
Also, I still don't have a charge on my card from Apple. The authorization expired on Tuesday and nothing since then.

That varies. Mine was stuck on preparing for days before it shipped. Once it says shipped, things move really fast!!!
Haha fathom me this one. I live in Hershey (5-10 minutes from Harrisburg). I just checked the tracking on my phone and here is what it reads:

I sure hope they didn't send my phone from Harrisburg, to Kentucky and back to Hershey. Not sure if this is just a mistake or what but something seems a little off.

Seems like some of yall getting emails around 12:30 EST. I'm on the west coast so hopefully it updates around that time.
I think it's how UPS works. Everything must go through the world port. Not very intelligent but it's how it works I think.

For the worried, if your phone is being shipped from US to Canada, as long as ups has the pkg by 3:30pm today, it will be here by end of day tomorrow.

Was originally told 7-10 business days from pre-order on the 12th for shipping and an October 1-6 delivery.

I show the same but I called apple and they said it is still on schedule for tomorrow. I have not had this happen in all the years I have been ordering. oh well we will see tomorrow.
Folks, the vast majority of the phones will leave the Louisville hub via jet early Friday morning and arrive at your city around dawn. They will go to the local centers and go out via truck to your home/work or held at your requested location. Don't expect to get it or pick it up Thurs night.

I had my dates changed twice, most recently to 10/2-10/13. Ordered 4:30 eastern time on the 12th. Someone in another thread mentioned the order number they were given as if the digits gave some insight on when it would be shipped.. anyone know what that is about? I have yet to get ship order but dates have not changed since settling on 10/2-10/13.

I'll second this post. With my iPhone 5, it didn't leave Louisville until early in the AM on Friday, made it to Seattle before 5am, made it onto a truck to a UPS sorting location (30 min away from the airport) by 7am, and was delivered to my home (another 30 min away from the sorting location) by 9am on the button.
I'm not worried that mine is still sitting in Louisville. Flightaware.com shows several more flights it could end up on later today or early tomorrow.
