you can print and sign a form on the apple website. go to order status and click pre sign. Print and sign. Tape to door.
Did you order it through Apple? If so, you can pre-sign it on their site. Just go to store.apple.com and login and go to your order and click the "Pre-Sign for Delivery" button.

What the heck does that mean? I have scoured the inter-webs for a defination some say 7PM. Others say just depends on your UPS guy. I ordered from Apple. Hopefully I will get it by 5PM at earliest.

I had the same problem on my 128 6+ Called ATT, got a supervisor explained the problem and we connected to an Apple rep got transferred to a supervisor and the Apple supervisor explained that there was nothing wrong with confirming my eligibility and that everything was confirmed. The reason order was delayed was because they have to scan and confirm the sim card numbers before shipping out and that they're behind schedule with trying to ship out 4 million phones. Said that my order will not get cancelled or get delayed but won't believe it until i get a shipping confirmation.
I'm in the bay area and have two iPhones arriving tomorrow by UPS. I noticed one was sent next day air and the other air express (or something along those lines). One phone is in oakland ready to go onto a truck for delivery tomorrow. The other phone departed from Ontario, Ca earlier today. I hope that phone in Ontario makes it on time!??
And since they were by different shipping methods, I wonder if they will arrive in the same UPS truck, or two?

think about when you have gotten packages from UPS before in non holiday months. That's around the time you will get it. My parents get UPS around 2pm. I get mine between 630-730pm. Sometimes 8pm.
Not home, but hoping to get my phone Saturday...
I setup with my neighbor at the last minute as I was heading out of town. Hopefully they'll be home and get the phones I ordered...so that I can get it from my neighbor Saturday mid day and play with mine this weekend!! I want to go turn in our 4s's to Best Buy for $125 each and get new case/cables. Good bye 30 pin cable!

My two phones are in that batch too. Im guessing UPS isn't up to date because I got an alert from the app on my phone saying one was out for delivery. When I opened the app both are still sitting in Jax. Normally they go through Orlando first so if it is still sitting there, they don't have much longer before it won't have time to get to the local centers here and get on the trucks. I haven't been worried much through this process but this delay sitting 4 hours away is starting to eat at me!
Yeah, same here (Northern VA) and a bunch of others who posted earlier. Probably just sitting in the distribution warehouse...it'll get scanned overnight.
Not that I wasn't excited before but, my phone is about 30mins away now!!!!!!!
My final tracking check before bedtime revealed that as of 11:28pm my phone was in London, ON which means that when I wake up, it's gonna be out for delivery as there is no more warehouses between it and where I am.

I've got the same problem. Talked to both AT&T and Apple, they are both blaming each other. I don't know what to think. So far, the most disastrous launch ever for me.
Not sure what to expect. I've gotten deliveries from UPS earlier in the afternoon on some days. Tonight though as Im pulling in at 730 I saw the big brown truck turn down the street next to mine. All I could think was, its going to suck if he's around here this late tomorrow!
Same problem with my order. Apple said they can't get eligibility verification from Verizon, while Verizon said all is good. This is not looking good.

I still have no update from last night at 1215am in Harrisburg. So weird it should've moved or something by now to get to NY. Kind of getting annoyed now.
