Raleigh, NC. I had an origin scan at 3:45pm and a departure scan at 3:55pm yesterday, both from Harrisburg. At 1:16pm today I had a departure scan from Louisville, KY without an arrival scan.

Called ups right now. Both iPhones are scanned and in the ups warehouse and ready to be picked up at 8:00am tomorrow morning. Woo ****ing Hoo!!!! And that's because I preordered the phones on Monday early morning. Woo Hoo!!!!! Lucky!!

Probably collecting Frequent Flyer miles. And if that's the case then my iPhone is probably going have a better seat than me on my next plane trip!

Yes. Anchorage is the port of call for cargo coming from China/Japan/Korea (the major Asian cargo lines all fly in and out of here too), but Customs is all handled in Louisville. Why that's the case is beyond me...

no it has to be in the shipped stage on the apple website to pre sign. On you order status page where it shows shipped for your phone there is a button that says pre sign delivery you click that and done. but you wont see it unless apple says its shipped.
Interesting. I'd send it to you but when I click the link it asks me to accept the terms and then the form generates with my tracking number listed so it wouldn't do you any good. You could always try to leave a hand written note with your tracking number and signature, but that could be risky.

I received tracking info from fedex which shows that my 6+ left west chester, PA and is in a holding facility in NJ since Tuesday. As of 5am this morning I received another update saying the package is still at the same facility and have not received any updates since then.
At this point in the day is it possible that the package could be delayed? I usually receive status updates as the scan is made out of the holding facility so I'm fairly confident that the package has not left yet

just have them sign up for my choice and select the driver to leave the package at your door or back porch... problem solved

they sent me via email, but the format looks messy.
I dont know if it is because I am using windows. I open this email on my iphone, it work pretty well. But I could not print it then with my iphone.
I might ask a friend who uses Mac to open that for me.

no you should still be fine. Ive had overnight packages not get scanned in until about midnight from amazon and still arrive overnight on time
It must work differently outside the US. I'm not sure if it's Apple's policy or the shipper's.

You could try downloading Safari for Windows and see if it works.
its apples policy. they dictate to ups how they want packages handled as far as changes go. The only way around it is to use ups my choice
