Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Update on my shipment tracking.
At 9:31pm it left Concord.

Ah progress, ye taste so sweet.:cool:

Something tells me it's gon be a very long wait tmorra, unless they show up first thing but I don't even want to consider that as its standard that they usually show up late afternoon with my other parcels.

Is it just me, or is anyone else feeling bad for the FedEx/UPS delivery guy/gal? It's gonna be even longer for them, especially when they bare the brunt of frustrated customers.

Suffice to say I shall be unwrapping my beautiful new lady, yes my phone is female (it's a sexy phone, nice curves, damn right its a female), in the comfort of my home on something nice and soft. :cool:

Condo Delivery

Actually,

I am living in a condo, not able to sign my iphone tomorrow because of work.

Anyone has idea that if the UPS guy's gonna have my concierge buddy sign my phone?

Update! Looks like mine didn't go to Charlotte, NC after all but instead Greensboro, NC on its way to me in Wilkesboro, NC. :D

So to the people that are getting the excuse from apple that they couldn't verify eligibility from AT&T, was there a valid excuse?

I am currently on hold, as the wife just got the email (well a couple hours ago) saying the same thing. Both our 5's were out of contract, I signed up for the next 12 on the 6 and her the next 18 for a 128 good 6+. Mine shipped.

Our ATT account shows neither line is no longer eligible for an upgrade. I cannot fathom a real reason Apple couldn't verify, other than the fact they are using this as an excuse.

I think if you leave a note for him they will allow him to sign. I live in a townhouse complex and have had neighbors sign for me for pkgs that need it.
 
UPS Choice doesn't work for Canada.
Anyone know if my personal signature is required or can my mom sign it for me if I'm not home?

If you sign up for UPS My Choice, you can choose "Provide Delivery Instructions" on the tracking page and select "Concierge" as the location.

I've been following this thread and enjoyed watching everyone track phones and flights.

My 6 Plus is currently in Miami and I'm in Ft Lauderdale. UPS says it will be delivered by 8pm tomorrow. My fingers are crossed it comes earlier than that.

It usually just has to be someone over a certain age - can't remember the age - but yes they will let someone else sign for it. Or at least they did last time.

And not a moment too soon, the missing leg of the tripod has been reunited with his compadres. 3 64 GB 6's to be delivered tomorrow! Deepest condolences to those of you guys and gals that encountered issues in the waning moments, and enjoy your new toys to those of you receiving your new phone tomorrow.

Nope. the sender has to specify that someone over 18/21 needs to sign for it. If it doesn't say it on your tracking, then anyone can sign.

Apple hasn't ever done that. Generally that is only for shipments of tobacco/alcohol/adult material in the states.

I just checked UPS tracking and mine arrived in Columbus at 11:04PM. I have UPS My Choice and told them to hold it at the local UPS Customer Center. I will be there right at 9:30AM. :)

Our house is one of the last stops on our UPS route =/

I won't get the phone until 730pm at the earliest.
 
I'm in Columbus, and I have absolutely no shipping info, order status change, etc to report. Order status is still "processing" on my space gray 64gb 6+.

I'm hoping that due to the fact I had it shipped to my work place with a large commercial account, they disregarded all tracking info.

I could get mine tomorrow as stated in my current order status. Or three weeks from now. I'll wait to get angry until it doesn't arrive.
