Just checked my tracking again and got an update that says that UPS incorrectly sorted my package and that it may cause at least one business day delay. Meaning I won't get it until Monday? WTF!

Call the UPS 800 number, and ask for a call back from your local distributor (they usually call back within an hour). Ask if you can pick up today.

My phone just arrived - this dude obviously just had iPhones on his truck!! My others stuff - case and things from Amazon are also out for delivery but on a different UPS truck....setting it up now!!

Been following the forum and reading/seeing some good things.

For what ever reason Sprint dropped the ball through Apple and delayed their shipments. But good news just came across my email. Instead of an Oct 1 - 6 timeframe for arrive my SG + 64gb will be here next week. Apple site still says "Preparing for Shipment" but no more worries I have a tracking # thanks to UPS My Choice.

My brother lived in Delaware, he walked right into the apple store, no lines and got his iPhone 6. Waiting for mine to be delivered in Maryland.

Edit: Actually its the AT&T store. He traded in his iPhone 4, got $200 credits and used it towards the iPhone 6. I pumped to get mine!!!

Im hoping they have a truck delivering just phones in this area. They normally have deliveries out very early and these didn't arrive until 730 and on the truck an hour later.

I feel a bit spoiled here. I didn't order my phone until about 5:30pm EST last Friday. It was the regular 6 model 64GB space grey. I was going through both the Apple and AT&T sites concurrently. AT&T was saying 21-35 days delivery and Apple was saying 9/19, so that's what I went with. 😎

Apple sent a notification that read Today's the day. Items in your order should be delivered today. I thought that was a nice touch.

I picked my pre ordered space gray 6 128GB up at the apple store in Greenwich, CT this morning. I arrived at about 7am the was a line of about 200 people. I went to the end and then found out the preorder line was on the other side of the store by the time I walked back there I was the 4th in line. I had my iPhone about 8:20 after some lag on the apple side.

I purchased leather apple cases at the store, red for the 6 and a dark navy blue for the 6 plus.

I am currently back at home restoring the 6 from my iPhone 5S backup.

I am also waiting for verizon to deliver a silver 6 plus 128 today.

Waiting on mine from T-mobile (anyone get tracking info?)

I was notified Wednesday night by T-mobile customer service that my device would be here Friday and I would be notified with tracking info once it became available. I never received that tracking info.

Today, T-mobile says that there is a glitch in their system and that even though the status still says backordered, that I may still get it today. My card has already been charged (which I was told wouldn't happened until it shipped.)

So I don't know what to think. I am working from home today in hopes that it shows up like promised, but I have no tracking number or anything to be able to check on it. This is so frustrating.

Im hoping they have a truck delivering just phones in this area.

Last year apple had expedited delivery and it would be great for special delivery trucks today. Otherwise it's 7-8 pm for me as I'm at the end of the route #

My phone left Oakland at 11:38 pm last night and arrived San Rafael at 12:30 this morning. Out for delivery at 6:31 this morning.

FYI - Avoid Wasting Time

If, like me, you requested your phone be held for will call pickup - it may be worth giving the UPS facility a quick call before you go to pick it up or waiting until the facility has been open a few hours before attempting to obtain your phone.

I received an email around 6:00 am (central) explaining that my iphone was ready for pickup at the UPS facility. I made my way over before work, and I was in the door at 8:00 am when they opened. Turns out the phones are somewhere in the facility, but they won't be moved over to an area where they can be retrieved for customers until 9:30 am or so.

I'm still getting it today, but the weather here in Houston is a serious mess, and I wasted about 1.5 hours this morning in traffic.

Got It !!!! The UPS will call was perfect, got there at 930 am, no lines was in and out in less then 5 minutes. Definitely will do the same next year !!!


I also got the Apple leather case, it fits it perfectly I highly recommend it.

Seriously, this thread was great. It calmed my nerves everytime i was getting worried and answered many of the questions i had without having to call apple or UPS. Well, see you all next year ?!?!?

Picked up my pre-order (128 GB gold 6+) from Augusta, GA store. In and out in less than 15 minutes. Non pre-order line had about 100 people. Apple store manager said they were cycling about 30 people per hour.
