Last year apple had expedited delivery and it would be great for special delivery trucks today. Otherwise it's 7-8 pm for me as I'm at the end of the route

Me too... I ordered Apple cases separately and they came around 5:30pm yesterday. I'm hoping there is a special iPhone truck that comes earlier today!

The cases look really nice.

It's currently 6:46am here in Anchorage, and my phone was marked as "out for delivery" at 5:50am. So I should get it much earlier than I was anticipating!!

Mine Delivered!, the iphone 6 is bigger than i thought, but still perfect for my hands, it's beautiful, the Retina HD display does make a different!, good luck to all other mac friends.

I picked my pre ordered space gray 6 128GB up at the apple store in Greenwich, CT this morning. I arrived at about 7am the was a line of about 200 people. I went to the end and then found out the preorder line was on the other side of the store by the time I walked back there I was the 4th in line. I had my iPhone about 8:20 after some lag on the apple side.

I purchased leather apple cases at the store, red for the 6 and a dark navy blue for the 6 plus.

I am currently back at home restoring the 6 from my iPhone 5S backup.

I am also waiting for verizon to deliver a silver 6 plus 128 today.

NO WAY!!! my home sweet home, darling! say hello for me!

enjoy your iPhone 6, i want spacey gray but gold haze will be arriving soon! i have already spoken with my UPS man, he had to do his by 10am orders then was coming soon!

does color really matter if we put on a case? i guess black front screen is better for movies? i've had white 5 and could barley notice difference but i don't watch movies on 5 but perhaps I will on 6+

cheers!

Just got back home and activated my 6 Plus. I'm loving this thing. I no people were expecting a lot of Plus buyers to regret their purchase (and some probably will-just like some will regret buying the 6), but I regret nothing. So excited. My local UPS only had one other person in there picking up an iPhone when I was there. I didn't expect it to be too busy though. It's not a big city (well, it is for KY).

i think it is all just personal preference, but hard to know apple has a phone with better camera + battery and say no esp when i love taking photos which i usually use dslr for - now i'm thinking that will change!

congrats!

Thanks AT&T!!!

So, I ordered through apple.com because in earlier years I'd done so through AT&T, and my phones always came in late; once over a month after it had been promised, even though I always ordered as soon as pre-orders started.

On Monday, my status changed to "Preparing for Shipment," and the charge on my card was finalized. Then, no change. By yesterday afternoon, I was certain my phone wouldn't arrive today, seeing as basically everyone else had already received their tracking info. After 7pm, I received an email from Apple saying that my order couldn't be processed because there was a problem with my eligibility. I called AT&T and, sure enough, the problem was on their end. Something wrong on the information they had on my account (not due to anything I'd done, just an error on their part). After supposedly fixing the problem, I had no more trouble with eligibility.

I called Apple to confirm, and the very nice rep who answered, "Rose," told me there should be no further problems, and I'd receive the phone by NEXT Friday.

At 12am, I received an email from AT&T saying that there was a problem with my "order," and that I should call them by the 24th or it'd be cancelled. Seeing as I hadn't ordered anything from AT&T, I immediately called. They told me I had an order in the system, but that for some reason, it appeared both "open" and "cancelled." WTF??

The rep tried to cancel it (again), but told me that we couldn't be sure whether it was really cancelled for a few days. So, basically, Apple may cancel my order in a couple days because AT&T says I already ordered "something" and renewed contract, and there is absolutely nothing I can do about it.

THANKS AT&T!!!

My 2 iphones were delivered today from my work.

I know I am in the minority, but I want to say that this process was so easy the whole way. And I am not bragging on apple, necessarily. I am talking about the members of this forum. We had a lot of potential issues that were negated by heeding the advice on this forum:

1) Shipping address - neither my wife nor I could be home for the delivery so I listened to the advice of all the previous people who said BEFORE the preorder, change your address at your carrier. Thursday night, we did that and called our credit card company to match the addresses. We had zero address issues.

2) Pre order - read so many people talk about the app being more successful than the website on preorder day - and it was. The app secured our order merely 25 minutes after preorder time and we were in the first wave. We had zero order issues

3) Patience - our phones shipped at different times and hit the St. Louis hub at different times, but arrived together. All over the forums, people were preaching patience. If your order says 9/19, it does. I had questions, that even I expressed, but I never actually panicked. Good advice here.

As I drove around St. Louis last night and saw the line at my AT&T store start at 8 pm and had seen social media posts about the chaos at the local apple store, I slept peacefully and came to work knowing that all was ok.

This was the easiest pre order that I have ever been a part of. Too many AT&T nightmares. Yes, because I went through Apple, that helped. But also because the answers to a lot of things are available here at MR. And when you read good advice, take it.

Good luck to everyone else. Enjoy your phones. Thanks for the great community.

congrats!

It is. And it is hard to tell what you will prefer over a computer screen. Let's just hope everyone is happy with whatever model they chose, that UPS delivers promptly with no lost phones, and that delayed orders get filled early.

Hunt the UPS guy down

Tracking status for my 6+ reads out for delivery. Do you guys think if I found the UPS guy in my neighborhood and presented my ID he would let me sign for the Delivery ? :D:cool:;)

Picked my iphone 6 up at ups at 8 this morning. Apple never ceases to amaze me in their engineering. This phone is incredibly well made. I also like the feel of the rounded edges more than the sharper edges of the 5/5s. For me,the 4.7 inch screen is perfect.

For those of you who called for Will Call and shows for delivery, give your UPSa call or a visit.

They may be still sorting through all the iPhones.

Mine showed out for delivery and when I visited my ups store. They said the way some of the iPhones came in and also the amount of iPhones caused a lot of delay.
