Anybody in the 10/20-10/27 range?

I also cancelled AT&T premier order and am really sorry I lost so much time. My Apple.com delivery is scheduled for 10/20-10/27 and am so hoping that it will be early!!! SG 64GB Plus

I've got your frustration.

Thursday of pre-order week: Got up in the middle of the night to purchase new iPhone. I did it on a 2 year contract. Went back to bed.

Next day(Friday): I did the math and realized Att Next would save me $, so I panicked. I called both ATT and Apple, and they both said changing my order was doable without canceling, but no one who had the authority to edit or change ever said "yes". I wound up in an Apple store, speaking to the manager while his associate was on the phone to someone in Cupertino. End result: if I wanted to save the $, I needed to cancel and reorder, which I did.

Fast-forward to Launch Day. I stayed up late and noticed that one of the local Apple Stores showed stock of the phone I wanted, only problem was I had to cancel the pre-order I had to complete transaction (some of you now see where this is going). After I cancel, I go all the way through the pre-oder dialogue until I get to the grayed out "pick up in store". I was yet another victim of this clause Apple or ATT has put in their terms of service with one another.

So.... I figure "no problem." I get up early on Saturday morning, saunter down to the local Apple store and am greeted by a line longer than i've seen at even a release day for some iPhones. So I wait 2 hours. Finally, as I'm nearing the front of the line, someone appears from the Apple Store saying that they'd sold out of iPhone 6+'s.

That leaves me with a new online order and an end of October delivery date. I hope those are worst case scenarios as some have indicated that ship times are bumping up.

I didn't want to shell out big money for a case for my iphone 6 + coming, so
I decided to order this one from amazon until Otterbox gets there iphone 6 plus cases in stock and I decide on a good screen protector or try to get a good one for a cheap price. The one here has a case screen protector and stylus??? for $6.99 http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MK25XM6/ref=pe_385040_30332200_TE_item

Apple.com order question for AT&T customers:

Do they allow you to keep your grandfathered unlimited data line? I vague remember when I tried to pre-order using a 2 year contract it only offered limited data plans, so it kind of forces you to migrate and lose unlimited data, which is why I went with AT&T Premiere and I'm still waiting.

Also, if you order and do in-store pickup, they hold the phone for you, right, so it isn't like you can order, go pick it up and not get it?

Kept mine. Otherwise with the nonsense of ATT not letting me unlock my iPhone 5 before selling it until 14 days after my upgrade is ridiculous and for that reason I would go to Verizon now that they can do voice & data at the same time, if it wasn't for the unlimited data thing. I filed a complaint with the FCC and while it may not do anything, makes me feel better. I can't unlock my contract fulfilled phone until the 14 day waiting period because I upgraded? They are just trying to delay the unlocks, like people will forget. :(

FINALLY! I did the pre-order Sept 12 with a delivery date of Oct 1-6. 6+, 64GB Space Gray with ATT. Sat in "Processing" all week, meanwhile a slew of the October 1-6 orders shipped on Thursday with many being delivered tomorrow, Tuesday - meanwhile still no movement on my order.

Quite a few of us with these exact models/carrier stuck in the same boat. No change when I checked at 11am. Disgusted, and yeah depressed..I didn't check all day until now.

I checked my credit card 15 minutes ago..saw the pending transaction, back to order process - switched to "Preparing for Shipment!" Called the bank just to ask what time that went through and it was 12:32pm ET. So MAYBE a "Shipped" status by tonight, tomorrow morning? Whatever the case it's just such a huge relief and just total happiness, I seriously didn't think this order would ever be filled.

Yea it is strange but I think UPS isn't scanning the packages. We might be surprised and get an update tonight saying that we get our phones tomorrow. (Maybe that's me wishful thinking) But after looking at the last flight plans on flightaware our phones might already be in the USA (Louisville) and not scanned in since it is the weekend.

Fingers crossed this is the case!!!

they didn't for Friday deliveries my way. Mine appeared to be in Harrisburg, PA and it said arrival time 5:15PM until sometime on Thursday after 12 midnight. When the tracker updated it says It went from there to @ 6:15 pm-Louisville, KY (UPS hub (opposite direction and time is doubtful and I don't think it was in Harrisburg, PA) to Philadelphia to Hamilton, NJ to Edison, NJ all in 12 hours and got on a truck and out for delivery by 6:37am.

Only problem is that when the phone finally arrived at 7:30PM, the driver, who wasn't my either of the normal 2 drivers said that it was mis-routed and on the wrong truck, not even my route. I figured something was up because normally, deliveries go through Newark, NJ if coming from the South or from Parsippany, NJ if coming from North.

So just relax and you'll see the real thing in the morning. Good Luck and while I got the iPhone 6, it's pretty big enough for me and I am really enjoying it.

I have a tracking # but it says only that a label has been created, there are no other details. Is it a good or bad sign!? Ordered 6 Plus 64 on Sept 12th through Sprint. Any thoughts??

Wow, Nice!! Same here, i order my 64GB Plus(gold), and Delivers: Oct 13 - Oct 20th -.-

Has anyone seen stock of the plus at a At&t corporate store?

Both of the authorized At&t stores by me only got 1 on launch day and haven't seen any since.

well, after 2 days with my 6, i'm impressed. Batter life is a little disappointing, but other than that, its a really great phone. the design is alright (if it weren't for the back antenna bands, this would be the best iPhone design so far) but i keep mine in a case anyways so this isn't an issue. The screen is of such great quality that no matter how hard i try, i can't distinguish pixels. i mean i can, but i can't clearly see them up close like on the 5. touch id is a new feature to me, and is one of the best things apple has ever added to the iPhone. the build quality and sturdiness of this phone is phenomenal (again, excluding the antenna bands) and so my only complaints are battery and antenna bands. everything else is stellar in my opinion. especially with iOS 8. it feels like a really premium phone compared to iOS 7 on an iPhone 5, although that was also a great phone.

Yep, ordered the 128GB Plus model in space gray Saturday morning. I was shocked at the estimated shipping date. Maybe as more and more pre-orders get fulfilled, out estimated date will move up ;)

Yeah I hope so!

ATT pre-order chaos

I ordered through ATT premier business site within the first hour on launch day. They gave me a shipping estimation of 10/31-11/13 (I know, ridiculous right?). Anyhow, I wasn't seeing any progress and tons of people were in the same boat with me through ATT. Being an ATT business customer, I had always thought I was confined to ordering through ATT only. I called my local apple store on saturday and talked with a business specialist. He assured me that he could work with our account and told me to cancel my pre-order and give him "a couple days." DAYS, sounds a lot better than MONTHS though ATT. I haven't been keeping up with Apple stock or this thread, but he told me that Apple is always first priority for stock since it is their product and he seemed pretty confident he could hook me up. What do you guys think? I cannot reserve online for store pickup when they become available because of my account type, he told me to email him a list of the orders we need for our business account and he would make it happen asap. Should I be confident in getting a phone this week? Is there a thread, site, or information that might better help my specific case out? I will NEVER order through ATT again.

Jacked this from the Oct. 1st - 6th thread,

I have to agree with you. Apple is knocking out 200,000+ phones per day. If UPS just lets crates of phones sit around, the pile up would become ENORMOUS very quickly. (Of course, they're not all going to USA, but still..)

I'm confident the tracking is just not updated. I'd bet most our phones are in USA already and I'm very confident UPS will hit their delivery dates.

Now I just wish they'd move up my Thursday so I could join the Mon/Tues club. Still aggravated about that. :(

:apple:

Right. My girlfriends father is a supervisor for a center near me. He said take the tracking with a grain of salt because it's not always accurate. He said just most of its estimated and when it goes out for delivery it could trigger all the shipping activity to post.

I can't imagine all these phones being stuck for this long due to something like customs.

Just trying to keep it optimistic.
