AT&T iPhone 6+ 16GB Space Grey, pre-ordered on the 13th with estimated delivery between Oct 14-21. Shipped via UPS on 27th from ZhengZhou, China. Tracking shows it's at Shanghai as I write this. Estimated delivery on the Oct 2nd, by end of the day.

Looks like iPhone 6+ is shipping earlier than expected.

On the UPS tracking notice, I clicked the green line at the top and the message that showed explains a bit. Here's the message...

"In Transit to UPS
"The shipment has been processed by the sender and will be entering the UPS network shortly."

So that might explain why our packages seem to be languishing in Zhengzhou and Shanghai - I think it's a day later in China than it is in the US (??). UPS in the US doesn't "work" on weekends. Maybe by tomorrow there might be some movement because it will be Monday in China (I think).

Yeah, hopefully, most of our will move before the chinese national day on the 1st, others would have to wait till the 7th before movement.

I've been posting to the wrong sub this whole time, I ordered on store.apple 9/12 @2pmPST 6+G/64gbATT. Still processing order on apples site. Its really wild to see what a few hours of pre order time can do (weeks wise) to deliveries.
Damn ATT Next, I would have picked her up in store too.

Okay, I think my tracking info is messed up. See below. I think that the most recent arrival scan should be for Shanghai, China, not ZhengZhou, China.

Angry Apple Guy

Was up at 3am on the 19th, waited for hours at the closest Apple store for the rollout. High hopes of coming away with a new 6plus. After the Apple crew pranced around the line as they were about to open, getting the crowd roused up in a frenzy like only Apple can do ! They then started making the glum announcement that most of us did not want to hear. If we had not preordered our respective devices beforehand, that we were not getting a phone that day.
Gone-Gone-Gone! Some of us did not want to preorder, because we wanted to see the phones in the flesh and compare first hand to our current phone. You know, get the feel, see if it's going to be comfortable and a good fit for us/me.
That paper cut-out online just didn't quite do it for me.
Went to two other stores that day in the Phx. area with no luck ?
I was told my best chance was to go online each day and check in store avail.
or order for delivery. 3-4 weeks out. Have been online 6-8 times a day checking in-store availability for pick-up since the 19th of Sept.
What really makes me angry is two-fold; first is that Apple should not get everyone jacked up and excited for this big roll out of their new phone, and then only have enough supply for a small fraction of the people who want them.
I know 10 mil. is a lot of phones for the first week, I guess I hear it's a record of some kind, but only by about 1mil. over the iPhone 5 rollout.
Apple pays people millions of dollars to know these things, they know how many they need. And yet they roll out with this ridiculously low inventory of phones to sell. They should have just put it off a couple weeks or more until they had a reasonable inventory to roll out with ?
Second area of frustration is regarding the quantity of 6 and 6pluses that are being sold in multiple numbers to the same people who aim to scalp them nice fat profit for their greedy bastard selves. I have seen the news reports of these same people lined up outside the Apple stores day after day in parts of California buying two phones at a time so as to pirate them back to China or Hong Kong or where ever. One lady had 30 iPhone 6 phones in a bag, getting ready to ship back to China. I do not know how these greedy scum are able to get so many phones, when I can not get a single 6plus.

Sincerely,
Pissed off in Phoenix

Same here man, stood in the line for 3 hours and when I got to the middle, they told me they were totally out of tmobile 6plus, DAMN, I fxxking walked to all the carrier stores around and they would not sell the plus until october..... I know ur feelings man, but luckily, I pre-order one on the 12th, and then went to the stores to try my luck, if I could buy it, I would cancel the online order. Try this way next time, it will save you and ur friends a lot of time. My plus is arriving next thursday with is the 2nd, can wait. And last, I am in Chicago, even though there are a couple stores, they all ran out of unlocked pluses in the first 2 hours.

No movement. And it scanned before some of your packages too. Just can't see how it'll get here by the 1st.

Well it shipped expedited. Apparently 4-5 business days. We shall see. Tried calling UPS. Was transferred to the special iphone shipping department. They were of no use at all. The rep said it says on time and that she "doesn't know how they work in China's facility."

Given how so many phones seem to be stuck in China (like mine) I wonder if this could be having some effect on air transport right now:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/27/travel/chicago-ohare-midway-flights-stopped/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

By Friday evening, more than 2,000 flights had been canceled in and out of Chicago's two airports.

The ripple effect caused disruptions at airports across the nation. Southwest Airlines suspended all fights Friday not only in Chicago, but at Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport as well. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport had 70 cancellations and there were 56 at New York's LaGuardia Airport.

All it takes is one little tiny (ha!) disruption to screw up the entire air system. Internationally, too.

This afternoon, my 6+ silver 128 GB traveled from Zheng Zhou (where it had languished for two days), reached and departed Shanghai.

I'm guessing it's headed for Anchorage, Alaska at this point. Not sure though but happy happy happy it might be over the Pacific. If I remember correctly, it will go from Anchorage to Kentucky before heading to it's new home in California.

Maybe it WILL get here by the 2nd! it was originally an Oct. 13-20 delivery date and I ordered it via Apple Store at 3:30 a.m. Pacific time Sept. 12! :D

ordered iphone 6 plus T-Mobile contract free 3:00 pm Sep 12
still "Processing Items Available to ship: 3 - 4 weeks Delivers: Oct 13 - Oct 20 by Standard Shipping"
If you are in the same boat raise your hand
i feel alone
