Ugh...same here! If orders just went live today for other countries, I can only imagine what their wait time is like.

Right? I think like most of us I try to be cool headed about it all, but like mentioned above that the phones are getting pirated there, (mind you I'm not far from SF) but now there is a whole second waiting list!?! I really don't like saying apple did anything wrong, because I don't know their business secrets, but this just seems really, really broken, as in the pre order and in store release fiasco. Not like I wont probably jizz my pants next release, but I defentaly will be a lot more hesitant to jump quickly.

Btw: SG 64gb ATT 6+.

Maybe I'm just sick and getting cranky.

UPS tracking info

In Alaska! Woohoo!

Once it's in Alaska - in generally goes to a few of the hub airports in the US. You could well have it delivered Tuesday the 30th. I'm envious. Mine did make it to Shanghai at 9:25am today, but given it's Sunday tomorrow, I don't expect to see an update until Monday AM (since if it gets out of China and is now too, it will be Monday am in China and that will be evening there by the time I check). Of course I'll check tomorrow but I realize it's Sunday in China.

I suspect the holiday in China is why Apple gave the very long estimated shipping dates. Fortunately, it appears all of our phones will be well out of China before the festivities begin there.

Given how so many phones seem to be stuck in China (like mine) I wonder if this could be having some effect on air transport right now:

http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/27/travel/chicago-ohare-midway-flights-stopped/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

By Friday evening, more than 2,000 flights had been canceled in and out of Chicago's two airports.

The ripple effect caused disruptions at airports across the nation. Southwest Airlines suspended all fights Friday not only in Chicago, but at Milwaukee's General Mitchell International Airport as well. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport had 70 cancellations and there were 56 at New York's LaGuardia Airport.

All it takes is one little tiny (ha!) disruption to screw up the entire air system. Internationally, too.

The disruption out of Chicago is probably more about domestic commercial flights. Those planes that were cancelled out of Chicago had to fly to some other airport and be available for other flights.

I had a friend that worked for Delta years ago and he said that when pilots were in the middle of disputes with management, they might suddenly find something wrong with an aircraft, refuse to fly it and have the flight cancelled, causing disruptions and some pain to management.

So do they really shut down everything for 6-7 days? I can't imagine that there will ZERO iPhone production for almost a week.
Edit: it is a national Holiday And they get triple rates but since foxconn is a private Company they can have there workers keep working. Wiki says. So there shouldn't be any stoppage in orders being filled and production stops.

Haha!! Yes, their system is broken, thats for sure. We run into the same thing every year. :D

That's mine too but it's still processing. Mine is a 6 Plus 128gb silver AT&T

Maybe (just maybe) the status will update over the next couple of days. I ordered apple care with mine and it was showing as a pending charge all week, then went away overnight. Don't know if thats a good or bad thing

Hearing all the shipping news in here with the different dates I almost guarantee that I will see movement next week but we will have to wait to see.

Did UPS just do a status reset??? My location scan from 9/26 just disappeared! Still showing delivery estimate of 10/2. 6/64GB/SG/VZ

UPS servers r also getting busted (MAYBE)

Well, considering everyone who is buying a new iPhone is also constantly refreshing the tracking site for updates, even their server could get busted, lets just keep cool, I am sure everything will be normal soon.

EDIT:I recently also noticed they updated their interface(UI), so I guess this might also be a reason for maintenance.

Same here. It just says Shipping Label Created 9/25. Everything else was deleted.

Same here! My 6+ 128 GB silver landed in Anchorage earlier today with a delivery date of 10/2. Now it's saying they JUST created the shipping label??? And no delivery date or any additional info???

I sure hope it's site maintenance. That would be logical - weekends and nighttime are the typical times to do that AND UPS in the US generally stops functioning over weekends.

Looking at the posts in this thread, the change showed up around 8 pm Pacific Time, which would be 9 pm Alaska time. That time on a Saturday night WOULD be a logical time to do site maintenance.

Guess we have to wait until tomorrow morning to see what's what. What a roller-coaster ride!!!

Good catch. Do they work on Sunday's in China? Hopefully by tomorrow AM my shipment will be on its way to Alaska and UPS will have its site fixed.
