Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

My 6+ is currently in Incheon after being stuck in ZhangZhou for 4 days. Looks like my package skipped the Shanghai step all together. My scheduled delivery was 10/2 and now it is 10/6. The 10/6 date was what my original Apple email said, so I guess it is on time.
Same movement (left ZZ at 5:15 PM)
Delivery date went from Wednesday to Thursday to Friday to Monday.
UPS my choice emailed me and said it's coming tomorrow though.
Frustrating. Glad it's not my phone and my husband's. Luckily, he's not as obsessed as me
yeah happy to see a update but I'm sure that will change when my phone is stuck in ZZ lol
Does anyone know what flights are scheduled from Anchorage to Louisville today? My phone arrived in AK yesterday at 1:25pm local time. I'm still seeing 10/2 end of day delivery. Would be nice if it came a day early though
FYI the first departure scan was it leaving the China factory. It arrived in the ZZ Hub 9/25. But like mine you got the 9/29 "Ghost" Departure scan. There we some phones with that scan that got an arrival scan into Incheon yesterday. Yours and mine were not one of those. So we got another Departure scan for 9/30, I finally did get an arrival scan into Incheon with that one.

preorderd the iphone 6 plus originally from at&t on preorder day (3:06 am), after a few hours of not receiving a conformation, cancelled it and ordered it from apple. i'm very impatient, so after seeing it available at a few stores, cancelled the online order and tried my luck. of course, they all disappeared. preordered it from apple again. went to my local apple store and got one yesterday, they apparently got a full shipment of iphone 6 plus's (at&t/16gb/silver) because they still have them today. i hate myself for being so involved in wanting a stupid phone. hopefully when i go to haiti in 15 days, my views will change and i won't care next time.

Most likely your phone did not actually leave ZZ and will probably leave tomorrow. This is what happend to alot of us yesterday with this scan:

I am hoping my phone made the UPS99 flight out of Incheon and they are just behind in updating the system. My delivery date went from 10/1 to 10/2, now it's 10/3. Although I won't be surprised if it changes to 10/6.

Sweet. UPS99 finally left Incheon. Hopefully we actually get the Departure Scan in a bit.

After being a lurker for some time I am just tired of this whole preorder debacle. I was happy my phone finally arrived in Louisville on 9/28 @6:33 am but was still confused as to why my delivery date was 10/02. Since Louisville is the main UPS hub I thought well they hold the loads for customs, but I have seen so many other phones come in and leave the same day. Don't get me wrong I am ecstatic not really but happy I am getting it on 10/02 instead of 10/13-10/20. This is the first and last time I will ever preorder an iPhone. Let's just hope our boat doesn't sink and our delivery dates get pushed.

How did you get the delivery window times? Are you a subscriber to UPS my Choice?
This is why I think Apple needs to re-evaluate its pre-order process. I understand they want the "buzz" and "drama", but it really just screws the customer and at this point, do Apple products need that hype? What needs to happen is Pre-Orders need to be taken prior to the phone being made available/released and cut off at launch. This will also give Apple the time to make sure they have sufficient supply to meet pre-orders, while also increasing the value of the pre-order process. They could still have their store frenzy for all those who didn't pre-order and now can't, still giving them the "buzz" and "drama" they appearantly adore.
