finally on app - i had to check to see what i got! i was just pressing colors and GB's until one popped up!

i bought iPhone + Gold 64GB @ 3:45AM deliver date: 9/19 baby!!

holy cow, that was a rough one! it made me change my password after 10 years of having the same one.....not a good time apple...

i got on to the app store when i posted here and it took until 3:45 to watch a gray circle go round + round

now to wake up in two hours but will be back for the best part!

let the games begin!

our apple orders better come before any other existing carrier in the US of A!

bravo to those who didn't jump ship!!

we will win, no worries! get some sleep guys + get ready for the games to begin, can't wait to watch these iPhone hop around right into our paws!

Never was able to get through to Apple's site on safari. Tried Chrome and it came right up. There were a couple of hiccups but I was finally able to order a Space Grey 6+ 16gb for AT&T and a gold 6+ 16gb for sprint. Both deliver on the 19th. Feels great to have that out of the way. Good luck to everyone else! If you can't get through and the app tells you unavailable, try some different browsers.

Checked out of curiosity, and safari still isn't letting me through and app still tells me that all of the phones are unavailable and I placed my order through Chrome about 15 mins ago
 
Finally was able to get through on the iPhone app. Silver 64GB iPhone 6. Didn't give the the option for Applecare + though. Guess I'll have to do that in the store...oh well.

if that does not work close app and open again

They're relying on third parties to deliver content. The keynote was Edgesuite, and the apple store is (apparently) being (non) served by akamai.

Time to fire the third party vendors. Though the lack of a T-Mobile option on the app is a completely boneheaded move by Apple. Way to reward the ONE carrier in the US that supports all the iPhone 6 features out of the gate.
 
Just ordered 1 6Gold 64gb and a 6+Space grey 64gb also... Via the apple app on the ipad...

I ordered two phones. There is one charge for the full amount and two charges for $1. Interesting.

I tried to go to the apple store on apple website but like everyone else I was unable to get in, I was using my MacBook Pro, my iPad and a 3rd PC, anyway I was unable to get in so I got my Galaxy S5 and went to the apple.com then clicked on the store and I got in and ordered my T-mobile iPhone.
 
WTF, the website is up, but 30 seconds later 6+ Space grey, 128GB is 3-4 weeks delivery. Screw that I'll go pick it up at the store on launch day.
 
NEXT v. Contract ATT

I do not understand this NEXT installment plan. It seems that you would be paying well above the price if you select the 2 year contract. I tried to go with the 2 year contract but it said that it would void the share plan that we currently have.

Yup. The app and website both came up for me about half an hour after it was meant to. I tried to order through the app and it crashed, so went through the website no problem.

been trying for over an hour - no luck on iphone app, ipad app, or my mac on apple.com. ridiculous. Trying to get a 128gb grey 6+ on verizon.

Interesting indeed. All 3 of mine are $1 and the orders went through roughly at 10 min, 20 min, and 40 min after midnight. Of course I ordered mine first before the wife and nanny. :D
 
Got it! AT&T 6 Plus, Space Gray, 64GB which is what I wanted via Apple through the mobile app.

I had been trying to do it through my iPad for the longest time, but it kept saying unavailable, and selecting/deselecting different phone times would sometimes show availability for something I didn't want, but would often hang when trying to pick my 64gb Space Gray.

Then I tried it on my iPhone that I wanted to replace instead of the iPad. This seems to be the key. The UI changes a bit, and now you can continuously click on "Replace This iPhone" and the availability status refreshes quickly. I hit it for a few seconds until it let me proceed. Funny part was the email confirmation came into my inbox instantly once the order was complete. If you're having trouble give this a try.

Whew what a pain, Apple!
 
I honestly think all variations were probably available if you kept retrying long enough. Mine kept saying unavailable also for the longest time but eventually it let me get what I wanted.

But so glad some earlier were mentioning the app because I went in and got it all updated and that is how I got both of ours. The website has never come up for me.

Chase yes. I didn't get fraud alert, but I did get full charge and notification.

I like Chase.
 
my order went through on the iphone app, and i can see the order in my order history, but i never got an email. anyone else order through the app store app but not get an email confirmation?

next is fine, do not worry, all can fixed in store, you have 14 days from the 19th to sort out

i did the math, it is not more at all and you get the discount on your bill - must sleep for a minute but i'll help you back here tomorrow - cheers
 
iPhone 6 Plus 64 ordered on AT&T at 3:04am confirmation email at 3:09am, order status email at 3:49am telling my my delivery date is 10/2 - 10/13 what a joke!
