Got mine after hitting random combos for 30 minutes until the one I wanted became available on the iPad app. 6+ 64G grey deliver 9/19. Confirmation email received right away at 1:01AM.
 
my order went through on the iphone app, and i can see the order in my order history, but i never got an email. anyone else order through the app store app but not get an email confirmation?

give it some time - also, i got my amex confirm (set up on iPhone) that apple made a charge just now at 4:12, email was at 3:45

My Dad's iPhone 6 Plus is due to arrive on 9/19, but mine says "7 to 10 days". He got through like 5 minutes before me.

Why have you done this, Apple?
 
This is a TERRIBLE preorder launch.

I went to ATT first and ordered 2 phones. No ship date no email. Nothing. Navigate back to the page and it still says Im eligible to upgrade so I upgrade both lines again. Same thing, no date, no email. Bank statement has 3 $1 authorizations. Overall I am not inspired with confidence

Finally got the app store app to work and its slow and buggy as expected. Finally get a 6+ in my cart, walk through upgrade and checkout
Go to get the second phone and I get to checkout and realize the shipping address is wrong!. Exit out, got to my account settings and it has a completely different address listed there (not the one that was on the checkout page nor my current address). So I correct shipping address struggle to get back to checkout and it still has the old one. I say forget it and order anyways.

Check my card balance and Apple pretty much instantaneously charges me for the 2nd phone but no charge for the 1st one I ordered at all. I have confirmation emails for both of them though.

At this point I'm willing th say screw it and sort it all out tomorrow. All in all I got 6 order attempts in for 2 phones. Pending $1 charges on 3, confirmation email for a separate two, and the full charge taken out on 1 of the email confirmed ones. What a mess.
 
I tried on the Apple Store App for over and hour.

I think I finally got one

But all I got was a reservation number

It says " we got a iphone for you"

And that they couldn't reach my carriers system

So as long as I have a reservation number I should be ok?
 
Wanted an AT&T 64GB Space Gray, but those were all sold out so I went for a 128GB. Delivers on 9/19. Not sure if I'll keep it, sell it, or return it. I'm waiting in line with a friend next week anyways.
 
This is terrible. Tmobile people can't even order a phone at full price!!! Very terrible move by apple.

What a misleading move by Apple! They could've told us right away it wouldn't be an option. Instead their site, which is still down LOL, was showing it as one of the pre-order options.
 
Can you check your bank/credit card online and see if AT&T has charged you? If so, was it the full amount or just $1?

yes, i saw 2 charge from att for 1$ each, i did order 2 phone, but i didn't receive any email confirmation. I guess everything will be sort out by the morning

I'd be more worried about canceling some of those iPhones, it looks like you ordered 3 from AT&T lol
 
Well then, I just place two different orders using the Apple Store app on my wife's iPhone 5S (I'm currently using a OnePlus One). Anyway, the first order I placed was a Next 12 upgrade to HER line (because I couldn't get the replace another phone to work). Once that order went through, I tried again and finally was able to put my own phone number in there and do a full retail purchase (using the 2-yr commitment but I'm not eligible for upgrade).

SO here's my question. I'm going to have to return one of the phones. The one I want to keep is the one I bought on my wife's line (I know, I was doing it so fast I ordered two different colors). So when her phone comes, can I just go to the AT&T store and pay off the Next upgrade and then switch the phone to my line??? Or is it tied to her line only even if I pay it off?

If all else fails, I'll just activate the one I ordered on my own line and return hers, but I'd like to flip flop...
 
I wasn't able to get my order in through the app on two iPads or two iPhones for Verizon. Finally got through on Safari to an order screen on the Verizon site (weird as it was was Safari for Windows and no other browser was working - kept getting an error code). Space Gray was already shipping out past release date, go my 64GB Silver Verizon order in, no e-mail or temporary authorization yet, but tracking on site says it's in progress. I know they validated the card because I typed in the wrong expiration at first and the order failed - oops lol
