Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

I'm on day 15 of processing....received an email from Apple saying that they are working hard to get me my phone and it would be delivered between Oct. 14-21. The date had been 24-31 so looks like they expecting to shorten wait times.

Ahhh drives me nuts. Good for you my friend, I'm happy your wait time was shorteneded! Buuuuuuuuuuut, my delivery time is still 21-28 and I'm on my 19th day of "processing items". Why am I not getting any emails... I think I'm just bitter at this point lol
Mine prepared to ship on 7th shipped on the 8th and I got it today the 10th. Paid extra $10 for shipping. I still think it help got my import scan in one hour. So glad I cancelled my order through Verizon.
Just wondering, where and to who did you pay those $10 to? I want to get mine to ship sooner too lol

It was an option through Apple to select expedited 2-3 days. South Jersey delivery
As I wait for my iPhone 6+ 64GB SG to ship, I noticed tonight that the silicone case went from 4-5 weeks shipping to 5-7 days shipping. I ordered both on Oct 5th from Apple. The phone is still showing 3-4 weeks with the estimated delivery of Oct 31 - Nov 7.
So after the 2nd time of having the 6 I wanted claimed within 30 seconds of getting the iStockNow alert, I just threw up my hands and decided to order through the Apple Store. It would've been much more convenient for me to pick up in-store -- and it's really dumb that there's no ship-to-store option -- but at this point ordering online seems like the best option. So here's hoping my experience is like the rest of you, and I get it much sooner than the predicted 10/29-11/3. Though with China now taking up a large slice of that demand, I'm a little worried that the days of phones shipping earlier than promised are over.
Odd. According to Flightaware, the plane has already left Anchorage. But the UPS tracking hasn't updated to Departure Scan yet. I hope it's because UPS decided to skip the scan in favor of getting the plane to its destination more quickly. Guess I have to wait 4-5 more hours and see if UPS will make an "Arrival Scan" at KY. If I find out my phone is still in AK I'm going to be disappointed.

So instead of my phone going from KY to Manchester, NH or even Boston it's instead going from KY to CT, and now it's on its way south again to Newark, NJ then I'm guessing from there will go to Manchester. Wtf UPS are you on drugs??? A Manchester ups flight left KY 12 hours after my phone arrived there!!!

Day 1 at home. I am wiped out. So is my new guardian. There were a few twists and turns in the road home today, and frankly, "Mom" is still telling me the story. I will share an update over the weekend though, with the whole sordid tale.

Seems very reasonable as long as they deliver on Saturday for your type of package. Aren't Saturday deliveries special in some way?
