Day 2/3 at home. So, here's what happened Friday: I was rudely roused from sleep at 12:30 am for a bumpy trailer ride from West Sacramento to San Francisco. Once I was scanned in, I heard someone say, "This one is redirected to San Bruno UPS Store. Gotta lock her up until Monday" WTF, Monday? I hung out in a dark office all morning and part of the afternoon until someone named Robert came in and said I'd been sprung. A very happy lady with red hair picked me up at 3 pm and said she'd worked all day to get me. When she saw I had been detained until Monday, she requested I be placed in "Same Day pickup" and had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with two different UPS hubs and the main customer service line, and visited one of the hubs in person to find me. No one had any idea which hub I was in. After all that, she said they told her she'd just have to wait. She was about to leave her office and go home empty-handed when the nice man at SF UPS called and said I had been located there and she could come get me. Woo hoo! So tired of this box. She liberated me, synched me, charged me and put me to bed on her nightstand. Over the weekend, we've been watching her San Francisco Giants play baseball and searching for baseball tickets for the home games this week. SO happy to be home and able to do my thing at last!
