Day 21...

I am sitting here looking at my order status, and hoping it will be released for shipping. After that happens, I will have to start tracking it, and hoping I will get it when UPS says it will be delivered.

All this, because I was not sure what phone I wanted at launch. I should have went with my instincts and purchased this phone on pre-order day the 12th. I would have had my phone for more than 2 weeks now. Instead I probably won't get it by the earliest of October 21st.:(

This happens every year I simply do not learn. Last year I tried to get the iPad mini and had to wait about a month.

What model did you end up going for?

Day 22 of processing. I think I check my order status more than I check facebook. come on apple. show me the love!

LOL!! Same here, I refresh more than I should

Looks like the average wait time is about 23 days, so we are close!!

----------

My tracking details are back and have the same delivery date, let's hope it stays! How about yours?

----------

You might be close! I got my tracking after 24 days. iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Gray AT&T for me.

I hope so, man!

Ordered 12 Sep and still showing a November estimated ship date

I ordered a 6 plus gold top end phone and paid full retail on Sep 12th and they are telling me delivery will be in November! Has anyone else received similar status?

Ordered 6+, space grey, 128 Gb and a blue leather case on September 12, about 12 hours after the Apple online store reopened. Was given a delivery date of October 16-20. Received case around Sept 23 and the phone on October 1.

Nice under promise/over deliver on the part of Apple.

Still waiting, Order morning of the 12th - 11am, Now it has been sitting in Kentucky since 1:30 am on Friday....I guess it won't start moving again until Monday. ;) Its been a hellava wait, a little more so because in August my iPhone 5s was stolen, I tracked it over districts with Police involved twice but no luck!!!:mad:

But out of no way comes a way in the form of a beautiful iPhone 6 plus Space Grey 128 Gigs.

So I have been using a 4s with the latest iOS and it is obviously moving at the speed of tortoise. I think we are all going to really like this thing with it's screen size and extra storage space. I expect it to canabilize my iPad use. Good luck to everyone, it's nice to have a support group like this lol :D:D:apple::cool:

istocknow is the real deal

Hello, long time lurker, but wanted to briefly share my experience. This is a terrific and helpful forum. If it can be of any help to anyone...then I feel like it's my way to pay things back a bit.

I had been extremely frustrated by the long wait times inherent with the preorder/order process (tried ordering from both AT&T and Apple). Had seen several references to success using istocknow email alerts, but for whatever reason didn't really give much credence to them.

After continued frustration (and lack of patience, frankly) I figured I didn't have much to lose. I live in North Florida and set up the alerts on a 6+ for anywhere in the Jacksonville/Orlando area. Within two nights of staying up to check for the 2am-ish notifications, I had purchased a 6+ SG 64g for in-store pickup at the Jacksonville Apple store.

My long wait was over with surprisingly little effort once I had started down the istocknow path.

Again, this is my first post after years of lurking, and I did so for the sole reason of thanking those that had posted info about this option and to encourage others who may be tired of waiting. Many thanks to this outstanding resource. It truly is the real deal! (posted in the AT&T preorder thread as well)

I signed up for the istocknow alert and in about 2 weeks I was only alerted once. Is that normal?

Same here. Only one notification.

Not entirely sure...I had tweaked the parameters from the first notification to the next (in essence re-did the email request). Since 2am Friday morning I haven't received another email, so it's possible that it may need to be reset/re requested? Definitely not an expert...might be worth experimenting with.

Yep, my tracking details were back later this morning and I still have the same shipping date. My phone is still in China though. Hoping for some movement overnight tonight or tomorrow.

Mine is still there as well! There was a flight that just left and one that will leave around 7:30 AM EST... If you look At the tracking of earlier shipped phones... Ours should leave China within the next 24 hours! Here's to hoping!

Day 2/3 at home. So, here's what happened Friday: I was rudely roused from sleep at 12:30 am for a bumpy trailer ride from West Sacramento to San Francisco. Once I was scanned in, I heard someone say, "This one is redirected to San Bruno UPS Store. Gotta lock her up until Monday" WTF, Monday? I hung out in a dark office all morning and part of the afternoon until someone named Robert came in and said I'd been sprung. A very happy lady with red hair picked me up at 3 pm and said she'd worked all day to get me. When she saw I had been detained until Monday, she requested I be placed in "Same Day pickup" and had to spend over 2 hours on the phone with two different UPS hubs and the main customer service line, and visited one of the hubs in person to find me. No one had any idea which hub I was in. After all that, she said they told her she'd just have to wait. She was about to leave her office and go home empty-handed when the nice man at SF UPS called and said I had been located there and she could come get me. Woo hoo! So tired of this box. She liberated me, synched me, charged me and put me to bed on her nightstand. Over the weekend, we've been watching her San Francisco Giants play baseball and searching for baseball tickets for the home games this week. SO happy to be home and able to do my thing at last!

Let freedom ring,
"Goldie" (AT&T 6+ 64)

What's your delivery date? Did you use flightaware to track the flights going out of ZhengZhou China?

----------

Hopefully we don't go to Incheon, Korean anymore and just head straight to Anchorage :(

Arrived in Memphis at 2am! Yay! Gonna try to pick it up today instead of waiting till Monday delivery. They only deliver certain packages on Saturdays this NOT being one of them #

----------

Ugh. I have to wait till Monday. Booo

Fedex? Thats because they only sort Saturday freight Friday night/Saturday morning and more than likely its still sitting at your local ramp (airport). Thats why you have to wait til Monday to get it.

IF Apple wouldve shipped it saturday delivery (which they dont) then you wouldve been able to pick it up at your local station on Saturday...

So, an update.

I spent about 10 days in "Preparing for Shipment" and on the 10th, I finally got notice that my phone shipped. Unfortunately like others who have seen that status, nothing has changed since the 10th.

I'm incredibly frustrated that it sat in "Preparing" for so damn long, especially seeing as I could have picked up a phone in store and at the end of the day, my phone will arrive on the 16th, the early end of the estimate projection.

Thankfully, I have things set up for the future, so in 2 years when I feel ready to buy again, I'll do so immediately, not wait until mid day for the preorder.

so its like 24 days total from when you ordered?
and correct me if im wrong.. no one has surpassed waiting longer than 4 weeks? so everyone has been getting theres by the end of the fourth? cause this up coming week is gonna be my 4th week waiting..

and its honestly brutal man the wait!!! :/
oredered on the 18th..
sprint..
iphone 6 + 64 gb space gray

hopefully it comes in this coming week..
if it doesnt it will go over my quote of 3-4 weeks and apply & sprint wont deliver.

I ordered on the 12th at about 2pm PST, went into "preparing" at the end of September and "shipped" on the 10th.

I'll be thankful when it finally arrives, almost more for my wife who has been so patient with her iphone 4, she really deserves the bump to the 5 which, holy crap, is so much better at this point than my 4 was.

Only problem is that in 2 years, she won't want the 6 plus, it's just too big for her needs... I'll happily cross that bridge in a few years from now, though.

Been waiting since Sep 12

I ordered my 6 plus on Sep 12 at 10:40 pm. Order was on processing for 25!days. 25 days!
Finally on Oct 9 it shipped. So today i have been waiting 30 days for my iphone. I guess the one that waits gets rewarded....something like that!
I watch it go from china to china. Then korea. On to Anchorage for a long day of waiting. Yesterday to Louisville. Where it has been stuck for a day. I am still waiting to see where it will go from Louisville.
I am waiting here in the desert, in Tucson. Hope to see you soon.
