Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Movement finally!!!
Left ZZ at 4:50 this morning, still on schedule for delivery on Friday. I now have a delivery window also!

SILL NO IMPORT SCAN:mad::mad::mad: Are you kidding me?? I'm pretty sure we will be getting a changed delivery date anytime now... :mad: I can't see how they would be able to deliver on time. I had plans to take a half day to sign for my two phones. So mad right now! 3 days just sitting in Louisville.

Edit from earlier post. We now have preparing for shipment, hopefully we don't take too long with that. Team 9/20
 
Team 9/20, congrats on status changes! I just got a shipping notification from Apple! It says delivery on 22nd, but UPS tracking says 20th. Really hoping 20th because it's my day off.
 
iPhone 6 Plus Silver 64GB AT&T ordered from apple.com on September 20th. Is now preparing for shipment. :) finally it switched from processing can wait for it to say shipped.

How long were you in the "preparing shipment" stage?
 
Happy for the 9/20 team finally getting the ball rolling # that means I should be getting some movement in the next 2-3 days since I'm team 9/22? Right? Lol

I just can't wait to retire this broken screened iphone 5 and move onto Bigger and better things ☺️

Btw how long have you 9/19-9/20 people had to wait for preparing for shipment to ship?

Current location:Incheon, Republic of Korea at
Arrival time: 7:25pmKST

Delivery was supposed to be on 10/16 but was pushed back to 10/17. If anyone's date has been changed from 10/16 to 10/17, it is because the palate your phone was on, was supposed to be shipped and on the plane that made it to Alaska yesterday, but it was left behind in ZhengZhou, China. So our phones should be in Incheon, Republic of Korea now, and should be leaving soon for Alaska. The reason the dates can change so easily, is because of the special shipping arrangement UPS has with apple, nothing is completely accurate until the phone has received an import scan, which means the phone is then officially in the US. Hope this has helped anyone that has been confused.

We only had to wait about 48 hours for it to go from preparing to ship to shipped! I will say as you can guess from this forum that it will take about 9 days to ship more then likely! So prepare for a new version of waiting! I got the "preparing to ship" update on the evening of10/9 a tracking number the morning of 10/11 and my phone is still in China but had a departure scan from ZZ this morning so we shall see! My original delivery date was 10/16 but it has been pushed already to 10/17. Good luck and hope this helps!

my phone is on that shipment too!!! you seem to be on top of this so Ill ask if you think we will actually get our phones on Friday? Apple says we should expect them on Monday but UPS says friday?!?! It seems like UPS is the one to believe and Apple is just being conservative. What do you think?

To be honest, I don't know what to expect. I have a friend that works in logistics for UPS and that was what he told me. As long as our phones leave from Incheon, Republic of Korea tonight, I would think they would still be here by Friday. It's 10:25pm roughly in Incheon right now and phones usually ship to Alaska between 11 & 12 PM, so if we see movement in the next hour or so, I don't see why we wouldn't have our phones by Friday.

I'm also a 4:50 departure (and now 7:30 Incheon, Korea arrival), but there's something weird with these scans, and I fear they're the "ghost" scans people have been seeing.

First, my UPS order status screenshot:

First thing I did when I saw the departure from Zhengzhou this morning was check FlightAware to see which potential flights our phones had gone out on. There were three that matched the 4:50 timeframe (which were all scheduled to actually go out at 3:20 PM CST, but were an hour and a half late leaving ZZ), however none of them were heading to Incheon, Korea.

I then checked Incheon's page on Flightaware after seeing the 7:30 arrival scan and noticed that the only scheduled flight from ZZ to Incheon for today was supposed to go out Tuesday Morning @ 11:00am their time (11:00 PM monday night for me here in Jersey, Eastern Standard Time, which was last night), and it was supposed to arrive at 2:06 PM Tuesday afternoon (again, their time, while that was 2:06 am Tuesday morning [this morning] for me here in NJ).

There's another flight from ZZ to Incheon scheduled for Wednesday, October 15th at 11:00 am their time (Tuesday, October 14th at 11:00 pm, EST) which is supposed to land in Incheon @ 1:50 am Wednesday 10/15/14 EST. This flight can also be seen at the link I just provided.

It looks like there's one flight from ZZ to Incheon every day, and unless they were SUPER late getting the flight notated on our UPS accounts this morning out the door and into the sky, I fear that they may be "ghost scans." I obviously hope that's not the case, but I just want those of you who are living and dying by their phone's transit status to be prepared for the possibility that around 11:00 pm tonight we'll see another departure scan from ZZ and another arrival scan in Incheon a few hours later.

I'll share more info if I see anything I think you guys would be interested in!
