Movement finally!!!
Left ZZ at 4:50 this morning, still on schedule for delivery on Friday. I now have a delivery window also!
Hey, would you mind letting me know what your delivery window looks like? I can't sign up for UPS My Choice to get a delivery window because my girlfriend and I just moved to a new place, and UPS uses public records to verify the identity of the person trying to sign up for the service. Apparently, public records indicate we still live at our old address, so we can't verify for UPS that we live at our new place. The only way to prove that we live here now would be to have them mail us a verification letter, but that'd take 2-5 days, and my phone is scheduled to arrive Friday, so that'd be pointless at this point.
If you could let me know what the delivery window is looking like, I'd be very grateful! Thank you!

I'm team 9/17, so the fact that yours said you were in Anchorage a few days ago was probably a mistake. They keep shifting these dates, and I'd imagine that since I ordered two days before you (7:30 a.m.) that mine would've gotten to Anchorage before you, and I haven't yet.
What's been reported is that there have been "ghost" scans that were made in error, specifically because UPS *expected* some shipments to go out sooner than they did and scanned palates that they THOUGHT were going to go on specific planes, and apparently some of the arrival scans were made on labels that were added to the wrong palates, making users think their phones were in places they actually weren't. Some people have seen THREE separate departure and arrival scans just from Zhengzhou! Just hold tight, my friend.
If you get the phone this Friday on the 17th, consider yourself VERY lucky, as I ordered mine two days prior to you and am also expected to get mine on the 17th.
10/2 Order and Extremely Frustrated
Ordered two iphone 6 64GB on 10/2. Wife's (gold) has said "preparing to ship" with estimated shipping date of 10/15-10/24 with no changes since order date, which is fine.
Mine phone on the other hand (SG) had estimated shipping date of 10/9-10/13 then changed last week to 11/2-11/24 then changed back this weekend to 10/11-10/16 then changed AGAIN this morning to 11/4-11/24.
This is extremely frustrating and to the point where I almost don't even want the phone now.

9/18 with a delivery of 10/17. Phone finally moved from China to Korea today, like many of yours did. Hope it makes the Fri delivery date.

Not true. There have been several folks who have reported that their phones have landed in Anchorage for plane re-fueling / partial offload without seeing an import scan, landed in Louisville after that, then flew BACK to Anchorage for customs and importing scans.
Phones then went back to Louisville and continued normally on their journey to their expected homes.
I know it doesn't make sense but it's been reported more than once in these very forums w/ screenshots to back them up.

I ordered the same phone on 9/12. Mine simply says "Backordered". Shouldn't I have had mine ship a week ago? I was simply frustrated before. Now, I'm angry.
More proof that "first come, first served" is a bald faced lie.
My guess is you didnt order from Apple, and from a carrier instead? ...that would be why...the carriers just arent getting phones as quickly to customers as Apple is.
Yup yup! Guess I'll start watching flightaware next.

6 Plus currently in Korea, Arrived there yesterday/last night. Expected delivery date 10/16 according to my ups. Also have a silicon case (coming fedex) that left Tennessee on sunday morning. Still no update on that, I live in WV and all shipments go to Grove City, OH before they reach me. I've driven from Columbus to Memphis and I doesn't take near this long, even with a million breaks.

I haven't heard too many story's about wait times increasing. If anything it seemed mos wait times were decreasing.

Quite a few people have had this problem. Basically the palate of iPhones (Or multiple palates), didn't make it onto the flight that they were supposed to be on, but ended up staying in ZhengZhou, China.
I ordered from AT&T. I tried ordering from Apple on launch day, but the website was hosed. I managed to complete my AT&T order and Apple's site was still trying to load...
On launch day apple.com was still having issues?
Well you might get lucky and get your phone, but from what I understand the carriers wait times have been all over the place. You could still go to the site that checks stock around midnight and see if you can place an order for pick-up. But that will require that you cancel the ATT order if you are paying the contract price.
Just call and ask why the shipping dates keep moving.

I ordered from an authorized retailer and called AT&T who has given me the party line of "we can't control when the orders will be shipped" and "sorry for the delay" blah, blah. It just makes no sense that the shipping date would keep pulling in and pushing out.

what the heck! i'm team 9/19 i have your same first scan date, but you were 6 minutes later than myself, i believe yours should be the same as mine...same delivery date as you...my phone is in Incheon Korea @7:40PM 10/14
