Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Yeah same here! I'm an Apple junkie so... I actually got mine and my wife's iphone 6 64GB last week at Target. Wasn't gonna upgrade til after all this died down but after seeing some forums I couldn't pass it up. My kid on the other hand is still waiting for hers. She wasn't/isn't too happy that we have ours. What phone did you order? It's IMO prob the best device Apple has done. It's AMAZING!! I love it!

Since I'm living in Nashville now I don't get up there as much as I want too. I took my wife there while engaged and swore she had a bucket list of buying something at every store in the "2nd largest mall". That was a LOOONG day to say the least.

You know it's really fascinating on how our company's work as in what and how an overnight package picked up in let's say China and is delivered in 24 hrs. Pretty neat to see all the scans, sorts, and everything that goes into it.

Hahaha, stop it man. Like I said, if the misunderstanding was on anyone's part, it was mine.

I ordered the 64GB Space Gray iPhone 6 Plus. I keep hearing about how great the battery life is, which is the thing I'm most excited for. Currently using a refurb iPhone 5 (my original 5 stopped working overnight one night, so they gave me a refurb) and the battery life is really awful. I've never experienced anything like the way this battery operates. Once I hit 30% battery or so, within 5-10 minutes it's at 7%, and within another 5 minutes it's dead. It's absolutely bizarre. It's like that last 30% of battery capacity has "died," as I understand Li-Ion batteries can sometimes do over time.

Anyway, I'm glad you guys are enjoying your phones, and I'm very much looking forward to getting mine. Our shipments have been returned to this upcoming Thursday, 10/16, which is what UPS estimated originally when I received the shipping notification. Yesterday morning it was bumped back to Friday, 10/17, but with today's solid progress, I'm expecting it Thursday again. Exciting stuff =P.

Anyway, have a great one. My best to your poor daughter, hahahaha :D
 
I'm on Team 9/26 and I finally got the "We are working hard to deliver your iPhone" email from Apple - claiming a ship date between 10/17 and 10/24.

This was for an AT&T 64GB Gold 6+.

Gotta represent for my 9/22 folks out there! I'm still patiently waiting for "preparing for shipment". Hopefully we get our update before the end of this week, since the estimated 21-28 starts next Tuesday!

Happy for everyone that are having fun tracking flights and what not! :) I love how friendly everyone in this forum is. I guess Apple people stick together #

AT&T SG 128GB

INITIALLY I ordered from the carrier site on release night at midnight. Ordered declined due to failed attempt to verify address. Tried 3 more times and still failed. I made no changes to the address on file so no idea why they said that. Then waited the next Friday in line at best buy for 4 hours to be 2nd in line and sold a 6 instead of 6+ Needless to say I returned it the next day (after waiting another hour just due to the crowd in the wireless dept) and was told no best buy ever got stock of it or would anytime soon. So a complete waste of my time. I just resorted to going home and ordering from apple site at 2pm on 9/20 and figured I would wait it out.

That is really a waste of time, and really annoying:mad:

I just pre-ordered an T-mobile iPhone 6 on 9.12, and later I found the 6+ is the best choice for me after I went to the local apple store. Then the month-long waiting started...

Ok soooooo I took off work so I sign for my phone. The orginal date was 10/16, then I got a new date of 10/17. Ok great! I'll take the day, get my phone and catch a high school football game...NOW I have a NEW DATE of 10/16 and I hope I don't miss the delivery. :mad: grrrr!!!
