Apple.com preorder thread - iPhone 6/6 Plus

Weird... I have a 7-10 Business day shipping.. Expecting delivery between oct 1- oct 6th. Just got a processing items email from Apple! Chance that i may get the phone on 9/19???

Update*.. It already said process items before.. My mistake.. My question is why would apple send me an email about it?

So I called Apple about the strange email.. She said that on her end it's showing prepared for shipment. While on my end it still says processing order. Maybe theirs a difference between what they can see and what we can see. Or some type of time delay.

I am not getting anything. My phone is preparing for shipment (has been for awhile), card is charged, and the phone is in my support file, but when I check UPS or Fedex, and track using reference number, I get nothing. I must be doing something wrong.

the number all together with area code? I have tried that and it isn't working for me.

lol you people are nuts. 99% of the phones that are scheduled to be delivered on Friday will be delivered on Friday. what is the point of checking statuses every five minutes of your order? Got a tracking number? Cool great awesome more than likely you still won't receive your phone until Friday lol. geez. I'm a huge techie but i'm not letting this consume me. Mine is scheduled to be delivered on Friday.

I know once I get the tracking number, it's doesn't change **** and I still have to wait till Friday. With that said, I still want to see see the mother****ing tracking number. I think the most important thing is a deep breath for everyone. Apple has and i'm sure will continue to be very reliable with the tracking estimates. If the phone is showing as coming Friday it will show up Friday.

I found it using my phone number on UPS. Apple won't change to shipped until Thursday or Friday morning from past experience and a few years back I had my iphone delivered with it still saying preparing to ship on the Apple website Apple has taken the money from my credit card.

My Monday has been made! I pre-ordered my iPhone 6 128GB silver on Friday morning around 1am PST. My phone went to "preparing for shipment" late Saturday night. I just checked my Apple support page and my phone listed in my devices. Then I signed in to my UPS my choice and I have a tracking number! My phone is coming from China. Scheduled delivery on 9/19/14 by the end of the day. Now I have something to obsess over all week.

Same here. Part of the fun is to obsess about the scary thought that it may not arrive on time, or to see it just sit in a UPS storehouse that may only be a few miles from your house, or even the rare possibility of it arriving a day early.

Gold 6+ 128gb, the rest is ditto. Phone does not show yet in my support profile, Apple tells me they can see no problem with my order.

I seem to be an anomaly. Two phones ordered. Both are in "Preparing for Shipment" phase. One I can see in the support profile, but cant track with reference. The other I can not see in the support profile, but I can track with reference. Anways, at least I know mine is coming! Picked up in ZhengZhou, CN today.

Same here. My phone is in China still; delivery via UPS by day's end Friday. Last phone I got delivered (I think 4s) came early afternoon. Here's hoping!

This phone was ordered via the Apple App. My S.O.'s phone, ordered online Saturday afternoon via Apple.com, is STILL stuck on processing. Still has a 9/19 delivery date though.

I aware but wasn't sure if it was where the order was processed and will be shipped from China. I I Have never had a pre order not ship from china.

That is exactly why I mentioned in my post don't give me grief this is all in fun and I very much enjoy this process. I am 99.9% assured my phone will be here Friday. That doesn't mean I won't eagerly await my tracking number, track the flight from China if it's there, and listen to the towers in Anchorage, Memphis, and Portland to make sure the planes aren't wrecking it's just all in good fun and a very enjoyable part of anxiously awaiting my new phone, tablet, or computer. Sheesh, people shouldn't be so judge mental.
