Wow, Apple caving to customer demands, again

Steve is rolling over in some plane of existence.

I may not have always agreed with the decisions Apple makes, even confounded at times, but usually when Steve Jobs forcefully made a decision that everybody doesn't understand or even hates at first, eventually the market realizes how brilliant the decision was and everybody starts adopting the idea or design.

Holding big tablet sized phones to your ear to make calls is silly. Not being able to dial a call without using two hands is ridiculous. Tim Cook caving to customer whims to create 1-1 rival products with Samsung is just plain retarded.

I ask again how people believe Tim Cook is the best leader for this company? If Apple comes out with an iNote "phone" product I would scream its time for him to step down as CEO.

Next year is leaving it way too late for a bigger iPhone.

I agree. It needs to happen THIS YEAR. People like myself will seek alternatives elsewhere. Apple has waited far too long to implement a larger screen. Making the phone taller, doesn't count.

4,7" is too big already, 5,7" is ridiculous for a phone.

Don't buy it then.

OMG! You've solved Corman's enigma!!!
You've liberated billions of consumers faced with trillions of products
that have features they don't want and who struggle with what to do.
Today should be a holiday for them.

For the few times when I do talk on my phone out in public, honestly I don't care what people think of me holding the phone to my head.
Nobody would even notice. It's not like holding an ipad to your head, a 5.7" screen is nowhere near tablet size. People do it with Note 2's all the time (5.5" screen) and unless you're a phone connoisseur you'd never even notice. I think for people that have never seen anything but an iPhone, lots of phones look comically big. The same is true in reverse... the iPhone looks kinda like a feature phone when you grow accustomed to larger screens. ;)

The iPad has no cellular capabilities???????? Under wich stone have you been living the last 2 years. There are iPad with cellular capabilities in almost every country WAKE UP!

I think it was pretty clear he meant cellular voice (i.e., you can't "make a phone call" in the traditional sense), though obviously with cellular data there a number of phone services you can use (Facetime, Skype, Hangouts, etc.) :)

Yes, Tim, gold iPhone with diamonds please and a cheaper, Swarovski version. 6 inches of course, no less.

From my Android experience, 5.7" screen is really RIDICULOUS and never seem necessary. I can read so fine on my current 5" Vega Iron.

I would suggest iPhone 6 be a zero bezel phone, like the Vega Iron

Pic owned by Eprice Taiwan. I have yet measured the dimension of the Iron is same as HTC One, which is still comfortable to be used by one hand that I do.

As someone with a Nexus 4, I wouldn't mind an iPhone but it would have to have a bigger screen first. No way I'm going back to a smaller screen.

Wow, where to begin? So much nonsense in just a couple of pages.

This is your opinion. Of course, your opinion is wrong. But hey, keep trying.

Opinion are opinions, they are neither good nor wrong, they are just opnions

Annnddd...just because you keep repeating it doesn't make it so. Again...keep trying.

The same holds for you!

Wow...I didn't realize I looked like a chicken when making a call on my Note 2. Who knew??? ;)

Seriously though...it's not dangerous. Have you ever actually held a Note 2? If you had, you'd know it in no way blocks your peripheral vision when held up to your ear. But that doesn't fit with your it's a phone/it's a tablet agenda, so you must keep spewing all that nonsense.

Tried it in a store and felt like a fool and saw nothing

Something tells me you've got a thing for tablets that you don't want to let the world know about. It's OK...no reason to be ashamed. Stop hiding in the closet and come on out! Us phablet lovers will welcome you with open arms!

No, got an iPad and Iphone, nothing to hide

Obviously more than you if he's needing to charge more than once a day. Are you sure you even use your phone?

Yup, using it all day in a normal al fashion.

BS. First, you don't speak for everyone, so stop doing that. Second, there was even one guy that said he wished they'd go back to a 3.5" screen...that he liked his iPhone 4 better than the 5. WTF? You people that love these small screens have either never tried a bigger one or are so afraid of change that it's paralyzing. Stop enabling Apple to keep these tiny screens and let the masses have what they want.

STill habve a 4, nothing wrong with it.

Yeah...it's called a Note 2. Or OG Pro. Take your pick. That's what phablets are...hybrid devices.

No shame about that either.

Why don't all the small screen whiners **** and realize that people (not all, but a majority) want bigger screens. The sooner you people stop letting Apple dictate what you want/need and actually decide for yourselves, the better everyone that loves the iPhone will be.
.

Finally! Choice! I'd love a 5.7 screen, hardly use my smartphone for calling, it's my portable mini computer.
BTW if they wait until late 2014, their market share will drop even more. Get these larger iphones out later this year.

5.7 is not portable unless you have Hulk hands. :p

I ditched my iPhone 5 for an HTC One about a month ago. Certainly there are those who prefer smaller phones and those that prefer phablets but IMO 4.5" - 4.7" is the sweet spot.

I am surprised that so many people struggle with the idea of Apple offering several different size displays. Seems like a no-brainer to me. Years ago Apple really didn't have any competition in the smartphone market. That has obviously changed......

Dustbin shaped Mac Pro? Check

Basic looking IOS 7.0? Check

No new iPhone for 2013? Check

Damn you New (post Jobs) Apple. This was your last year to stay ahead too.

Tim! You've Cook-ed the books a tad too much this time, mate

Biiig, no.

What I want is a 3.5 inch phone with a full day battery life.
A phone can't really have any more features than I have in a 4s.
So go ahead and refine it.

But make it slimmer more vivid and longer battery life, please.

I would love my iPad mini to be my "smartphone".
That way I wouldn't have to carry two devices.

It seems that texting is now the preferred means of communications.

I hardly talk on the phone anymore, and I would be glad to use an earpiece to talk on the iPad Mini.

Baffled too. Maybe some people are nervous that if the iPhone offers a larger screen they will no longer be able to mock Android's large screens but instead have to embrace them.
