Well to be honest, that happens with all companies that stream. Ever noticed how HBO tries to put bans on people streaming the PPV fights? That's the way it is. But Apple wants to keep the stream for Apple customers so it doesn't get bogged down. The system requirements are Macs using Safari, iOS using Safari and Apple TV. That makes sense, otherwise it's going to be another streaming fiasco as last time. If you have an Apple device this shouldn't bother you. ;)
去年的惨败根本没打扰我!
(Last year's fiasco didn't bother me at all!) ;)

So, focus on Apple TV SDK for the upcoming release of Apple TV 4 alongside iOS 9 and OS X 11....
(that's why no Apple TV 4 hardware yet...)

Developers, get ready!

iLife: Digital Hub.
Apple TV: Digital Center Your Universe.

I doubt it. This year is all about the Apple Watch and the watch native SDK. Apple releasing a new Apple TV this year would spread their support talent way too thin. There may be a new Apple TV come the fall for Christmas season. If so, then we will see an Apple TV SDK next year.

Looking at the banner, I also wonder if they are going to change iOS to be more like the watch OS? Perhaps make all the icons into rounded diamonds (like in the banner) and remove the text below them which would mean more icons on the screen and maybe they'd add the zoom and pan from the watch OS as well?

If they want everyone to go Android, then maybe they'll do just that. I could live with round icons, but not with no text.
