Even if this is just a developers conference, I don't care what they do..... I finally got a 6.5" iPhone I waited 3+ Years for!

Woah... hang on a sec, you want Apple to look to Google for inspiration in aesthetic design and UX? Wow... I'm stunned by the sheer hilarity of that proposition. As much as I absolutely love material design, let us not forget who conceived the H.I.G., and who is only JUST beginning to learn the baby steps of something vaguely similar...

Should Apple also abandon C-based languages, and move to Java based ones? Scrap the current Xcode, and look to IntelliJ/Android studio for inspiration? LOL. Ok, I am being facetious, but you get my point.

Erm... just no.
Just because Apple's flat design can be improved doesn't mean some sort of slippery path argument would suddenly apply.

I think I have it solved, HomeKit will be part of devices that can be a central hub to control things AT HOME, Where does everything begin? AT HOME, the epicenter is where it all begins, AT HOME, so could it be that home is a hint at perhaps OS X Cupertino, Apple's home is Cupertino after all? I don't know maybe... Call me nuts if you want but I literally had two dreams already where the name of OS X 10.11 will be OS X Big Sur ☕️ Just incase.

You read my mind!

I liked Big Sur, and just suggested San Fransico or Cupertino for OS 11.

I really hope the top one gets it, and yes, I grew up in the San Diego area...

I'll be honest, compared to out of the past 5 years or so, this is the WWDC I am least excited about. None of the rumors sound exciting. The one thing that was somewhat exciting (new Apple TV hardware) now seems unlikely to be introduced. Yawn.

Oh Apple...

Well to be honest, that happens with all companies that stream. Ever noticed how HBO tries to put bans on people streaming the PPV fights? That's the way it is. But Apple wants to keep the stream for Apple customers so it doesn't get bogged down. The system requirements are Macs using Safari, iOS using Safari and Apple TV. That makes sense, otherwise it's going to be another streaming fiasco as last time. If you have an Apple device this shouldn't bother you. ;)

You can count on the top one not even being considered. LOL. It doesn't roll off the tongue easily.

Apps on the TV with companion Apps on iPhone etc is going to be awesome for gaming. The iPhone will become the controller. Really looking forward to this. Please Apple make it happen.

Looking at that banner again and maybe it means dark theme coming to iOS?

I was that way on the last announcement (for the watch, in March), and ResearchKit blew the doors off for me. So, there may be some good surprises that grab you.

<-- Glass half full guy when it comes to AAPL

The image shows something at the center with something rippling outwards. Looking at the image, it looks like someone threw a pebble into a lake and something is rippling outwards, much like an earthquake.

I'm not sure what this means, but I like the design.

I do not see a point in announcing/launching OS X 10.11 now. They should fix all the crazy issues with Yosemite first. Without Steve, Apple has lost control over quality control.

It really doesn't matter what the version number is, the question is has Apple shift their priority to focus on optimization and stabilization for the year.

As for Jobs, Apple had bad releases under his control as well. The very first 10.0 release was horrible, 10.6 first release had a horrible data loss bug and many more. 10.5 wasn't great until a few updates later.

It is all about what Apple focuses on for the year. If this is the year of Snow xxx, it's going to be a good one. Even Snow Leopard took a few updates to really knock it out.

Let's honor W.C. Fields and name it "Anaheim, Azusa, and Cucamonga."
