Apple is preparing to release iOS 26.0.1, according to a private account on X with a proven track record of sharing information about future iOS versions.

iOS-26.0.1-Feature.jpg

The account initially said iOS 26.0.1 would have a build number of 23A350, but they now expect the update to have a build number of 23A355. This suggests that the software update will include more bug fixes or changes than initially planned.

MacRumors has also seen evidence of iOS 26.0.1 in its visitor logs in recent days, as Apple's software engineers test the update internally.

iOS 26.0.1 will likely address a handful of software bugs and issues:iOS 26.0.1 will likely be released in the next few days.

iOS 26.1 is already in beta testing, and that version should include the same bug fixes that come with iOS 26.0.1. So far, iOS 26.1 makes both Apple Intelligence and Live Translation on compatible AirPods available in additional languages, and it includes some other minor changes across Apple Music, Calendar, Photos, and Safari.

This wifi bug is so strange to me because I have the issue on my work’s iPhone 14 and I had it on my 15 Pro which I sold, but not on my 17. And it has been a problem for about a year. Constantly disconnecting while wifi assist is off…

My 13 pro has been running very warm to the touch with wired CarPlay, and weirdly it seems to get warmer and warmer to the point it actually feels hot around 5 mins after disconnecting the cable - hopefully the update resolves this, otherwise will have to do a clean install soon

Ever since updating, Maps only provides alerts and guidance when it's active on the screen (at least while using CarPlay). It sounds like a lot of other users are experiencing this as well. I'm hoping this update fixes it and we don't have to wait until 26.1.

Having the disconnect bug on the Air, but only in CarPlay and it only presents very very quick skips. I'd much rather have something to deal with the unbelievable slowdowns and lagginess all over 26.

Bearing in mind that Liquid Glass is basically useless, what else is there? Virtually nothing other than bugs. That's Tim Spindler's Apple for ya: zero under-the-hood improvements, terrible UI changes, and a plethora of Apple service-pushing features that can only cater to those paying eternal subscriptions to the company.

Ahhh that’s again a lot of crying here.

I experienced a very strange brightness bug on my new 17 Pro Max yesterday. The screen suddenly went to high brightness, and the brightness control behaved abnormally (would not go to normal minimum brightness). I had to power-cycle the phone to clear that issue.

CarPlay has actually been working fine for me, oddly enough.

Pretty much hotfix for iPhone 17... if it's just this.. pretty bad
Don’t think so. This will most likely fix some smaller issues with iOS 26.
I wouldn’t expect too much but it’s good to see that we get a bit more polish ~2 weeks after the release of iOS 26.
Having more hopes for iOS 26.1, this version will bring more substantial polish but we need to wait a couple of weeks more.

Do you also have the Problem on the 17 Pro that the 24MP mode blures part of the face? The Heif Max mode works normal as expected. Look for the eyebrow which is partially blurry.

I hope the ui lag is fixed and maybe the keyboard typing lag that’s been there since iOS 18
It’s been there much longer than iOS 18. It’s been my one gripe about iPhones for a long time. When it works fine such as in spotlight, it’s great. But most of the time it’s so laggy. I’m surprised no one notices this since it’s very laggy on messages app.
