Not true since there are factually known bugs in iOS 26. You have them but just haven't stumbled upon them.
Correct. Runs super fast and smooth for me, plus its visually very appealing and the best looking UI since iOS6 for my taste.

I have a 14 PM and haven't noticed anything of the sort. Are you sure there's no rogue app or some kind of indexing/calibration going on?
My partner also has 14 Pro Max and we've been seeing different results. My Pro is more prone to battery drain, but their Pro Max has been having more visual and UI glitches that I never saw beyond beta 1 & 2.
I’ve had a week of horrible battery but it is now normalized. This is just the same old panic that happens every year, when the new version comes out and the phone is re-indexing everything. Let’s talk again in a month.
Mine has not. It usually evens out after a day or two as I'll leave it plugged in when not in use so it can prioritize finishing those tasks. But even while at work a week later, my phone starts at 100%, will barely come out of my pocket all day and would be around 65% by the time im heading home.
Like I said in my original post on Sunday, systems settings for Saturday, the day before showed 2 hrs of screen on time and 50% usage. Looking now on the full day report shows 4hrs 49mins screen active; 28 min idle and used 127% battery.

Sounds like an app is keeping your phone awake instead of letting it sleep. Have you tried force-closing the app before charging your phone?
