I checked it and I am one of the old original non email apple-ID’s they could never merge with my iCloud account email — I would loose all my many purchases if I made that my email so not gonna check because it wants to put an email in fo the old login name i still use for all apple-ID purchases... so not gonna. it is interesting that it has email address associated with my name apple-ID and it pastes it in but when I select continue it then gives me it cannot do it and says

You can only add the @mac.com address that is already on file in your account.

which is the correct address in my Apple ID account weird...

But they cannot merge account especially for those with ME account or go further as .Mac account. I'm pretty sure there about millions more others who have more than one account like me. Apple don't need to make them looks like they have more accounts now because pretty much in a family already have more than one account. I kinda get it back in the days when Apple brags how many account holders Apple has and that encourages developers as a potential customers. I would love to add my dotmac account to my current iTunes and Apple Store purchases account so I can have one account including my iCloud.

That's great news! Hopefully eventually everyone will be able to request and delete any data associated with them from any company worldwide. It's a big win for privacy rights.
Thin end of the wedge. Makes me wonder if one day companies may be able to see what you hold on them, and why shouldn't they be able to get a court to do it if they can show reasonable grounds for suspicion?
People are dishonest, not companies.

I kind of want to download it, but I might need to wait until I'm connected to a larger hard drive, lol. Also I don't want to get flagged at work or something for downloading 400GB of files at once, if this includes iCloud Drive. Can we request everything but that?

Yep have same issue. Funny thing is that I have a .Mac account still (alias of the .me and iCloud) and it knows that it goes with my non email Apple ID where all my purchases have and are still made. But when I click continue (they have the mail listed as ok) it gives me error that I cannot do that:

You can only add the @mac.com address that is already on file in your account.

which is the a=@Mac.com that goes with it and thus I cannot even use this feature. Its like they want to combine my iCloud and @Mac.com together but it doesn't work either oh well I know most of the info was just curious to see it.

Anyone know what format your iCloud Photo Library would download in? Is it just the images themselves, or metadata too?

This could be a way for people without Macs to obtain an offline backup copy of the iCloud Photo Library, which you cannot do easily without the MacOS Photos.app.

go under "delete your data"

No. "Get a copy of your data".
Re-login. It's there now.

Oh, no. What if they report all those adult websites I told my wife I never look at...?
Apple doesn't track web sites. But your adult movies rental history on iTunes will be there :-0

I just submitted a request. You get to pick what data you want, so you can exclude iCloud Drive if you want (and photos too).

Ironically, all those countries belong to the "Five Eyes" global spy network headed by the USA.

I downloaded mine a couple of months ago. I was distinctly underwhelmed by it. Seriously boring stuff. If this is what the spooks are looking at I feel some pity for them.

The declining United Kingdom is missing in the list of the so-called Big Five
It's been available in the UK for a while.
