Works fine on my network. But need over 3G at some point. Come on carriers!!! It not so much bandwidth on the end of the day. I wonder if jailbrake work for it. I decided to not jailbrake iPhone 4 but now I am thinking about it again.
Can Anyone Confirm if you need at least iOS 4.1 on the iphone to get this working? I am using a Jailbroken iphone 4 running 4.01 and would like to try this out but not if it means loosing myWi and my3G.
I must be retarded cause the only thing it does is the same thing iChat... So far I can't make it work on the iPhone or iPod Touch...
What gives?
Isn't it supposed to give me Facetime on mac to iPhone and vice versa? I'm lost I don't get what I'm doing wrong here.
I don't have a facetime on my iphone.... I'm in London, is that the reason?
Can anyone give me a how to for dummies on this?
I'm on a MacBook Pro latest and latest iPhone. :/
Would love you till the end of time and name my first born after you... maybe..
;p

If you don't have iOS v. 4.1, it will not work. Try updating your iPhone and iPod Touch with iTunes. If you have FaceTime devices, you will be able to use 4.1.
Thanks for the reply, but I have everything updated including my iPhone...
:/
I don't know how to call the mac or from my mac call the iphone...
I feel useless...
Hmm...
Well, in a couple of hours, I'm sure if you do a Google search for "FaceTime mac walkthrough", Google will be littered with results.![]()
Thank you!
I'm sure it's cause I'm in London, I've never seen the function called facetime on my iPhone. :/
Umm...can anyone tell me the point of this if you already have Skype? Pretty much everyone I know with iPhone 4s don't use Facetime, which makes this useless since I can do all my video chatting with Skype, and I can talk to both Windows and Mac users. This really should just be built into iChat, not a whole separate program, because by itself it's quite pointless.
Yea, as it seems to for the majority of people. I don't get why it won't work on mine, some sort of software conflict? I've tried rebooting, reinstalling, nothing. I'm on a brand new 27" iMac running Snow Leopard, this should work!
