To celebrate the 90th anniversary of Mickey Mouse, Apple has introduced special edition Mickey-themed Beats Solo 3 Wireless Headphones.

Priced at $329.95, the headphones are a gray color with a classic Mickey design. The headphones come with a matching gray felt carrying case, a collectible pin, and a decal sticker.

Mickey Mouse made his first appearance on November 18, 1928 to replace Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, one of Disney's original characters. He made his debut in the short Plane Crazy, which was shown in short film Steamboat Willie, and from there, Mickey was in more than 130 films, both short and feature length.

Mickey Mouse is now one of the most iconic and well-known Disney characters, which is likely why Apple has designed Mickey-themed headphones. The Beats brand has done similar character collaborations in the past and once created Hello Kitty themed Solo Wireless Headphones and UrBeats.

The new Mickey Mouse headphones are listed as "Coming Soon" on Apple's own website, but can be pre-ordered from Amazon. The official launch date on Amazon is listed as November 11, 2018.

Looks like Apple gave up on Air Pods 2 and Air Power and decided to just do this instead.

Wow, these will go just great with Apple’s new iMac, Mac minis, Mac pros or MBAs!

    Oh, wait.

Not my thing, but must be a market. Heck....spending $330 for any headphones would not be my thing either, but their is a market there as well.

I’m not one of them but some people are avid collectors of Mickey Mouse and I’d be willing to bet that this will be popular especially as Christmas gets close.

Okay - now this is a price hike .

I’m sure some people will like them, though Beats + Disney ..... not a likely couple .

Yep. With all of the questionable moves, crazy pricing, and getting political....my 2016 MacBook Pro will probably be my last laptop from Apple.

Most people love mickey / Minnie

Though the problem here is not mickey or Minnie, it’s beats . Lots of apple fans still have issues with Beats being owned by Apple .

For me , I wish apple innovated the headphones , instead of innovating colours .

Would you imagine Steve Jobs on stage telling "one more thing" and showing this? This single question shows what's the current Apple situation.

You’ve never been to Disney world or Disneyland and seen adults without kids, dressed in Disney regalia, trading pins, etc.?

    No it doesn’t

Nobody went on stage and made this the “one new thing.”

This really reminds me of the old-old-apple (post-Jobs and pre-Jobs)...

(that would make it... in-between-Jobs... I guess...)

Not gonna lie. I think they look cool. Worth $329? No. But I still like the look.

Yes. My point being there are many adults who love Disney and have disposable income.
