Yes, they should be allowed. Without a doubt. I am for freedom. When I say "should do", I am not for laws restricting it, but just that it probably isn't a good idea. I understand that Apple is a huge company, but don't forget their past.

1. Were large and successful
2. Plummeted
3. Was bailed out by Microsoft. Yep....Microsoft.
4. Has become a giant.

Many of companies that are huge come and go. And it can take a log time for Apple to feel affects of its mistakes. There are companies that we never thought would go under or shrink.

Some Companies off the top of my head:

1. Kodak
2. Xerox
3. Hostess
4. Lucent
5. Blockbuster
6. Tandy/Radio Shack
7. Atari and Sega are a shell of what they were.
8. General Motors (Pulled out of Chapter 11 by the government

Keep in mind politics was only one of the things I mentioned. The fact that they are as expensive as ever yet are delivering a product I find no longer worthy of the price tag is a huge one for me. They continue to ignore their customers, and continually denies when they have issues they don't want to address.

It is hard to argue with my Windows powered breathers when they are sporting an i7 quad core, 4K display, 32GB ram, 512+ SSD and paid less or the same as my MacBook Pro with an i5, 8GB ram, 256GB SSD, and a display that is good, but would not put in the great category, and I have been waiting for 2 years now to get use to the butterfly keyboard. However, I am not sure anyone will ever outdo the mouse and the gestures it uses compared to its Windows competitors.

I dont really agree with you, but they are much more valid concerns as to why Apple could fail than their SJW stance on things.

Incorrect, and you seem to be making assumptions, and trying to put words in my mouth I never said. Please link in this thread where I said it was okay for some companies to do and not for others. It doesn't matter if it is Apple, Nike, Citi Bank, etc. They can do it, but risk the loss of customers.

It is just not good marketing. Not sure if you have taken any marketing classes in college, or experience in the workplace, but it is typically marketing 101. Think about it...companies won't let you discuss politics at work, yet some use the company itself to do just that.

Companies won’t let you discuss politics at work?

What the heck are you talking about?

Oh for sure. Apple's disingenuousness about . . . well, pretty much most things is laughable. The fact that people defend them or buy into the BS marketing speak they spew is strange.

Apple is a multinational corporation whose goal is to maximise shareholder profit. They do that buy making overpriced widgets that they have marketed very, very well. Their goal isn't to improve your life or relationships or help the planet. "Apple" is not creative. If some of those things happen as a side effect of them making vast sums of money, well, they can leverage that to sell us more crap.

I love my MBP, but it is just a computer.

I understand how that works, I just don't think it is congruent with Tim Cook's frequent grandstanding. It is this aspect of Tim Cook's Apple that I really dislike - where he will be dishonest like a politician saying things that people want to hear but on the other hand turn right around and implement decisions that are bad for the customers or the planet, And then proclaim "hey look we're really green" because we give some minuscule proportion to combat climate change.

I run my own company so I am well aware of how capitalism works, but it is a myth to believe that maximizing shareholder value requires you to do everything that and anything that can make money.

Limited edition because no one wants them.

I literally laughed out loud reading your comment.

They are absolutely ugly.
[doublepost=1539933990][/doublepost]Maybe had they designed them better, people might buy them. It literally looks like they took some mickey mouse stickers and put them on some grey beats.

People will buy them. Just because you and I don’t like the design doesn’t mean people won’t buy them.

I’m fine with these. I see the appeal. What I don’t get is why Apple continues to kiss Disney’s butt while they still refuse to let Apple sell 4K versions of their movies like every other studio.

Not to sound curt, but have you had a "real" job before? discussing politics is typically against company policy.

My professional real job in financial services has no such policy.

However, it's common sense to use candor around such discussions. I wouldn't discuss politics in front of customers, I wouldn't get into real debates with others at work, etc. But my immediate seating area of 5-6 coworkers all feel the same way. So we can talk openly as we see fit unless there are outsiders around, then we do reign it in on our own.

No you didn't.

They're objectively among the best for sound at the price point and market of on-ear sealed wireless headphones and have been since the Solo2 came out in 2014.

You just wanted to sound provocative. You failed.
Mid range sucks, depth of sound sucks, otherwise, they may be the best at whatever price point. I don’t compromise on sound, on budget: yes.

The B&O Beosound H7 is the reference, whatever your dimishing post is trying to approve.

Let me sound provocative and surprising as you apparently seem to be triggered by: I love the Beats X, and can really recommend them. It’s a good product for its price, and has a nice auditive spectrum, good bass. Downside is the wireless phone application is not all that impressive, but heck... to complain about that might be a little too provocative.

Besides: nothing audio is ever objective.

Besides the besides:
My subjective statement on these is not so provocative as the different reviews one may find on the net.

Google for reviews and read a few of them, and you will not find bad reviews for the overall product, but you will find pretty many reviews that mention the sound being not so impressive.

The sound is the most important for me, maybe not for others, and it is the only thing I said: the sound sucks, if you know how things CAN sound...

If you compare to the earpods, sure...

Let me provoke a little more:
These ear phones are extremely comfy, good looking and have excellent Bluetooth pairing. Just sad that ... the sound is not on par.

Sigh...

You're wrong, and you couldn't demonstrate it even more than you just did if you tried.

There's the measurements, so go ahead and argue with what the science of it actually is - something that has no bias and cannot lie. Then get your ears checked.

As for your statement. They are not in line with any review you'll find on the net, and haven't been in line with any review you'd find on the net since the Solo 2 came out in 2014, which is what I said. You'll only find baseless comments like yours making statements based on the headphones Monster released under this brand name, not of any recent product.

On your statement on the mid-range, the science proves you wrong... it has the most natural midrange and the best vocals in the 2-300 dollar range.

The Solo 2's were regarded as reference cans for mid-range on-ear sealed headphones. The B&O H7s are not anywhere on that map for upper-range on-ear sealed, lagging way behind Sennheiser Momentum, HD 25/26, Focal Spirit Pro's & Classics, Shure SRH, amongst others. There's a huge difference there.

What’s your point, really?
I at least express a personal opinion. These are my ears. I don’t give a flying fart about anything you throw at me, mister.

If you cannot live with that, well no worries for me, but spare me your BS.

People that read in a proper way, have no more potential irritation with my post, other than think: “well, that dude has his opinion. I got mine, or I haven’t.”

Just ignore me, man. Vomit on someone else, please.

Adios!

The point is, your comment is FOS. You never touched them, not a single time. You tried to sound edgy based on things you saw other people say on the interwebs, you admitted as much by telling me to "google it". Yet you were even wrong on that. You fell flat on your face. Run along now, you're dismissed.
