Waiting for the new Mac mini mouse edition. It’s almost certainly coming.
Are they 'stereo' headphones? It's not mentioned on the linked webpage... kinda important info. Oh, I want a Mickey HomePod! (and a Minnie one too, for Stereo).
One gimmick after another. Wish iPhone never happened and Apple would be laser focused on solid stuff than all these gimmicky toys.

I know we needed iPhone in order to progress but we didn't need it to be so successful that the other products would become killed or neglected.

You’re in the minority. Apple has many more customers than in your supposed “golden years.”
I truly thought this was a joke..... And then I thought, ok they are making a child's headphone.... Wait, then I looked at the price and threw up in my mouth.
Also that there are only maybe 6 people working on Apple and they do everything from low level OS code to graphic design. Oh, and they also invent all the emoji ever.
Can it be that nobody involved in marketing this knows that "Mickey Mouse," as slang, also means "trashy, poorly-done, half-assed, ridiculously simple. . .?"

There will be a lot of Disney / Mickey Mouse collectors buying a set of headphones.

The comments from people are amazing Apple aren’t in the buisness of innovating they are in the buisness of making money. The two aren’t always mutually exclusive but which do you think is more important to the share holders?
These headphones are not for children, I’m positive some parents with more money than sense will give them to children but Apple (a trillion dollar company) clearly know their market. People will snap these up as Mickey Mouse and Disney collectors.
Just because a graphic designer and marketing team have made these doesn’t mean the Mac development engineers have just been sat around doing nothing. A huge company, or in this case two huge company’s can work on more than one project at once.

I just (This evening) turned down a potential job working for a major player in the entertainment electronics industry - Because the last thing that we need in society is more electronic entertainment.
*Apple could also make some money by developing real professional laptops without a freaking Touch Bar - But fleecing us consumers with their shiny new crap seems to be a better business plan post-Jobs (FWIW I own a new 2018 MBP15 - work)
Hmmmn, well, their goal is to make as much money as possible and maximise shareholder returns, so in THAT sense, yes they SHOULD make garbage like this.
These are going to sell like mad. I live in Florida next to WDW, and trust me, people buy this stuff like crazy. There IS a market for them.
