Beyond the W1 chip what would actually do to the product? Beats sells because of Beats, not Apple. It's a simple case of if it ain't broke...

The purple Solo 3 look great but the RED is just off like Trumps tan.

I got the silver Solo 3 on vacation and sound is okay, battery's awesome! Everyone says that Beats are heavy on the bass but my old Nokia Monster has way more bass. Maybe because they are over ear.
