I'm curious how they're going to fill 7000 seats. In the past they did it when they launched the Watch and the new Apple TV (built those living rooms to show off how the Apple TV worked), and at WWDC they accommodate thousands of developers.

But besides the usual tech media & reporters, I wonder who will fill this auditorium?

Simple, They invite more of the tech media along! They used the same place for the iPhone 6S launch.

Yes, I had mentioned that when I said the new Apple TV - that was a big announcement for them last year, along with all the living room setups to have hands on with the Siri remote.

I guess it could be the same crowd, but that's why I wonder what else could be going on besides iPhone and Watch?

Do you think they are installing plexiglass barriers between the stage and audience to protect the presenters from flying fruit?

Sadly no, because almost everyone there always claps like a complete idiot, while being amazed at even the smallest stuff like when they changed the name from Mac OSX to Mac OS...

I'm not saying throw fruits lol, but don't clap for the dumb stuff and just stay quiet when they announce something laughable like another year of 16gb iPhones while charging you 100$ to upgrade it.

Have some self respect is all I'm saying.

Note the absence of rainbow flags and decorations on the venue and in the surrounding area. So much for the conspiracy theories surrounding Apple and Pride that were being thrown around here last time.

thursday I need a new phone ;( my provider gave us 50 Euro to buy new device. So Apple Chop CHOP

Apple care 'jack' about this. Waiting for iPhone 8 where I suspect they'll have to reintroduce the headphone jack following declining sales. I'd like to charge my phone and listen to music without adapters thanks.

Last Apple event before they all take place in the "mothership"?
Quite possibly. I like the change from Moscone to Bill Graham. The latter is much better situated for one day events as the former is mostly set up for events that go several days.

I wonder if going to Bill Graham is a "Plan B". The theater may not be ready as scheduled due to inevitable construction delays that build up one day at a time.

Worst decorations for an Apple event ever. Tim needs to go.
Have to say, very subdued. Here is some more color.

Looking forward to seing the new Macbook pro. Hope they will finally present it

Nah, won't be in this keynote. I'd put money on it. Likely October/November in tandem with iPad update. Not to crush your spirits, but you'll just be disappointed waiting for something that won't be presented.

Only a handful of the British and French press will be there. Doubt if they will get the rest of the press corps up to throwing stuff at Tim. It would be funny to say the least. Then again, the security personnel that Apple has in the wings during these events are quite impressive. You never see them unless things go awry.
