Tax avoidance is an absolute must
Radical nonsense, especially if you live on the largest (mostly dormant) truckload of cash on the planet
Social responsibility is not overpaying in taxes
The issue at stake is underpay. Overpaid tax will generally be returned (as anyone with the most elementary understanding of tax legislation would know)
As cfo, is that we’re to happen on your watch...you would be fired
Fluffy, cognitive misunderstanding of a CFO's role.
A large corporation Being cognizant of social responsibility does not mean that one needs to overpay taxes or not have products made in China because of perceived labor law violations
So next time the "cognizant" (whatever Being he is...) raises his voice, he is just as ludicrous as laughable
Those who take continual issue with the company and the way it’s run makes one wonder why some continue to do business with them.
I am here to discuss topics - and I have a long-term relationship with them both as customer as investor. So I think I am perfectly entitled to do so.

Appologists have their own rules and norms. They'd run the world like worms.

So why don’t you show Apple how to do it and send in an extra tax payment to “save the planet”.

The issue isn’t underpay or overpay, the issue is pay what is owed based on the laws in effect. As anyone who has a basic understanding of government will know.

Not clear it’s me who is misunderstanding a cfo role.

I fully understand that because Tim Cook put apple’s toe in the water to support social causes he is now in the hook to save the planet. Steve never did that and therefore he gets a pass.

I am here to discuss topics - if Apple's business with me becomes relevant, I will indicate so.

I’m here to discuss relevant topics to me as well. Unfortunately the critics and bashers are two faced, “do as I say and not as I do people”.

You don't seem to realize we customers already do/have done so (with their premium prices)

If that were the case, this topic about taxes due didn't exist

Unaware where Apple's cash comes from, what the tax issue discussed here is about, your level of apprehension is clear to me.

Steve is dead. Tims' toe in the water hasn't made anything more hygienic yet.

I'm merely a "start listening once in a lifetime" guy when it comes to feedback@apple
(which may be a spammer's biggest nightmare on the planet)

My level of “apprehension”? yes I know what you meant, funny typo. I don’t need to cast stones to prove a point.

People are better off with Tim’s toe in the water. Steve seemingly avoided the water.

I’ll take your word for it.;)

Chill. All I said was “interesting” and now you’re going off on an anti-American tangent.

Calm down. The only part that was in response to you was the first part, said in what should have been obvious jest. After that, I went on an anti-avarice tangent, relevant to the thread. Your personal permission & approval neither sought nor required.

As said, the courts have ALREADY ruled it was an illegal arrangement, you don’t seem to have grasped that everything you precur to has already happened. It’s fact. It was not a loophole it was a breach of EU law.

Sorry, courts often make mistakes and ruling overturned for various reasons. So until Apple admits error and decides not to appeal, it’s an ongoing matter.

You’re annoying. Shoo.
