I'm guessing the 2019 iPhones will still have Intel modems. I can hang onto my 8+ another 16 months or so until the 2020 iPhones. Hoping the notch goes bye-bye in 2020 as well.

Every year for the last 20 years has supposed to be the year of Linux on the desktop. I'm not holding my breath.

Well, all Apple devices use unix, the predecessor, to Linux. But I agree, Linux is not destined for the desktop, but when you run everything from the cloud, which is Linux, then it does not need to be on the desktop. And Linux's crappy UI means less and less when all you are using is a browser.
