...I enjoy Apple products but let’s be real Apple stock is bloated. Nothing revolutionary has come out of Apple in the last 12 months. If anything I see this as a correction for their value.
100%! I have been stating this for at least 5 years. It truly boggles my mind that people/investors think Apple is innovating. Great sales? Sure. But Apple has been coasting on iDevices for at least 5 years if not 10.

No surprise. Apple has been extremely overvalued for a while now. They haven’t had a successful new product launch in years now. Tariffs are giving investors and excuse to sell.

Not innovating ?

This is the company that keeps on spending substantial parts of their keynotes on things like Memojis and Genmojis, seemingly in the belief that its customers are credulous idiots who buy into this stuff.

Now that’s innovation.

Apple is worthless, in the short term, without Chinese manufacturing. Everything they make, from a $10 headphone dongle, to a $15000 Mac Studio, is made there. The only thing they don't make there are a few things made in India (mostly for the domestic market there - somehow it's okay for India to protect their economy, but not the US) and the Mac Pro which as far as I'm aware is still made in Texas.
The Mac Pro IS still made in Texas. Or what's left of the Mac Pro, anyway. 3x the starting price of a studio just for on-board PCI slots.

I guess Microsoft has it easier as they get a large portion of their profit from software and OS licensing fees, so the actual hardware can be assembled on the Moon for that matter. However, I believe that their hardware is also assembled mostly in China?
We can expect a Moon tariff any day now.

That's what you get for depending on one country so much, dummies.
But it wasn't "that other country" causing the problem and the tariffs have been applied to the whole world. Apple also manufacturers things in India, Taiwan, and elsewhere (including the United States). None of that makes sense.

I think the world associates Apple with Chinese manufacturing more so than any other company. At this point anytime you think "Made in China" the first thing that pops into your head is the iPhone and Apple.
I mean truthfully iPhones aren’t the first thing for me so much as most of the things I own or wear

Certainly going to be an awkward WWDC what with the Siri debacle and now this.

I’m just waiting for all of those who regularly scream.

“JUST LEAVE THE EU”

To start screaming

“JUST LEAVE THE USA”

In 3…2…. Oh!!!
I'm all for Texit.🤠 Secession is in our blood, y'all.🤠 We left Spain (1821), Mexico (1835), the US (1861), and technically, the Confederate State of America (1865). We left 'Merica once, we could do it again.😂 I'm all for another 4 year Texit from 'Merica, this time without the unethical slavery baggage.

This is only the beginning unless the trade war nears it end before long. Apple is in a world of 💩
Every smart phone maker is screwed, they all will have to come close to doubling their price. This isn't just an Apple problem.

Makes sense of course that Microsoft is much better prepared for these tariffs, Apple is basically entirely reliant on hardware, even for its services. Microsoft isn't. And services aren't being hit.
The share of hardware at MS is comparatively small, they earn from their services and these are not yet affected by this idiotic trade war.

But that may change as the EU is considering a digital tax because the US exports $100bn more digital services to Europe than vice versa.

If this is taken into account, the trade deficit between the US and the EU is almost balanced.

whoa!? Is that the new iPhone 18 Pro Max? How much did that cost you?

Only $20, a month….. but I’m on a 16 year contract. 🤪

The timing is perfect for the iPhone Foldable, which gives Apple even more reason to charge $3,000 instead of the estimated $2,299 that’s been going around. Lol.

Nah. The flop of the vision BS has shown them they can't overcharge for gimmicks.
