Yeah, but if you click "buy now" it just takes you to the main store page.
So you can't really buy it online now.
I've only had MM since April of last year.
So when it renews how does that work if you buy it from BH or Amazon? Not sure I understand. Won't Apple send you an email asking you to renew? Then if you guy it from Amazon how do you activate your renewal?![]()
Sure they do but I still don't understand how you buy another box from Amazon and renew your existing MM account. Can you be more specific? Thanks. If you set up your Mobile Me account Apple has your email...

Oh...LOL. Thanks.with the code that's in the box...
So let me get this straight...Apple recently built a huge multi-billion dollar data center for potential use for a service that they would give away for free? Yeah, right!MobileMe will always be a paid service
The answer is simple and obvious. As Apple stores are eliminated physical software from their shelves, it only makes perfect sense that MobileMe will be moved to the AppStore. Every Mac now ships with it. There's no need to have a physical disc, etc. Not that there was EVER a real reason. But there ya go. Also - with the proliferation of the iPad (no disc drive) and MacBook Air (no drive) - why have physical media anyway?
As long as I can keep using my Mac.com email addy AND can do something to avoid ads, it will all be fine....
I do not like that my iPad only uses me.com, try to explain to people that they are the same.
I'll believe in a free MobileMe when I see it, having just renewed for another year last month.

What are they going to do for those whom have already paid or will in the near future once its launched as a free service, a refund a bigger storage vault etc?
You can get it to use .Mac: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3570
exciting news, other than the fact that my 'auto-renewal' just occurred![]()
