I stumbled across another place online that mentioned the Apple Universal Docks on clearance at Radio Shack. So I went there for lunch and sure enough I picked up a Universal Dock for only $20.00.
Just thought I would pass it along if anyone was interested.

I had been wanting for a while but couldn't stand to spend 50 bucks for it. I am going to stop by the other Radio Shack in town after work to pick up another so I can have one at work and home.

I've never seen it so that's why I asked for a pic. If not, then no biggie. I ordered a cheap non-oem dock via ebay yesterday for $7 shipped.

Very nice and the remote is a nice touch as well. Wish I would've known about this dock and saved my self $7 and just added another $13 for the OEM.

Okay..

The local Radio Shack next to my work has a few at this price. But my question for the OP (and everyone else) is which versions of the iPhone are you using with it. The box appears to only state the 1st one, but not the 3G, 3GS, or 4.

Will this dock work for all iPhones, or will those with the newer ones get the dreaded "this device will not work with this accessory" message?

BL.

Yay. Picked one up after work today. It was listed at $24.95 but it rang up as $19.99...weird. Don't really need it but for $20, nice little trinket to have. The remote alone is worth it so it's like I'm getting a dock for free.

Any way to check stock at local stores online? I'm coming up empty on radio shack's site.

It is an in store clearance deal. You will not find it online. The best thing to do is just ask whatever store if they have them in stock and then ask the price (what I did anyway).

So is there an adapter for the iPhone 4?
